Make it IMPOSSIBLE for you to go a day without several people contacting you all day if you don't post roll.

Remember, the only true way to mess up roll call is to not be on it!

Hi All

I'm 27, been dipping since 15. Today's the day. I haven't been nicotine free in a long long time (when I did quit dip in the past I subbed in cigarettes). Rest of my story pretty much mimics others I've read on here.

Wish me luck!

(Also I really don't get the roll call thing even after reading the post on how to do it 'help' )
Let me see if I can find some material for you. In the mean time if you will, go here February Quit Group just post your name and 1 and let somebody pick you up. I will try to find the instructions.

Wyatt no luck needed buddy. I've learned in my short time here it's kick ass and take names. Cool thing is that you'll do that with a support group like I've never seen.

As for roll...it's a daily promise and a practice of accountability. If you go to the quit groups forum you'll see a thread for pre-Hof February 2017. That's our quit group. Follow the instructions for posting and don't worry about messing up a few times. The vets here will fix it up. Practice makes perfect.

I'm in your group and here to help any way I can. I'm on day 5 and it's been a trip! Feel free to PM. You are about to change your life if you dive in to this community.

Welcome mwyatt. You've made the right choice.

We don't wish luck here. Quitting has nothing to do with luck. Quitting is deliberste and it is difficult. We offer all sorts of support, and accountability. But not luck.

The support and accountability are earned when you post roll in your Quit Group, which for you is Feb. '17. How to post roll didn't make sense to most if not all of us when we started here. Nobody cares if you screw it up the first few days. You'll get the hang of it, we all did. The only important thing is that you be on roll, that is the cost of admission to this otherwise free site.

Reach out when you need help. Post roll first thing each day. Stay active and committed to your quit, and you've got this.
welcome to the rest of your life!!! get on roll and take a ride it only get better if you need anymore help or advice ask away
