Hey guys I didn't find this site on accident, I've made my decision. I am 27 years old and addicted for fifteen years. I am married and I have 5 amazing kids who shouldn't have a slave for a father. Although I am certain of who I will become when I Quit, I am afraid of what I will be in the beginning. I feel like I should spend the first week in solitary
Congrats on your decision. You have come to the right place. It will not be easy but you can do this. Every day is worth the next. It gets better , I promise that. Yes there will be anger, just remember it is not your wife and kids fault that you are an addict, when you feel yourself getting angry or short tempered just leave the situation. It happens to us all. My wife wanted to kill me the first couple weeks but I promise it gets better. PM me anytime and i will help however I can.

hey JIMSTV,

Welcome to the real world. So you wanna quit? Keep reading here, make up your mind, look in the mirror at the nicotine addict (yes you're an addict), quit for yourself and not your wife or kids or you'll blame them for the way you feel!

Take it like a man, do it for yourself and take the quit responsibility on yourself. Put your balls in the wheelbarrow, cruise over to the September quit group, post roll, keep your word (your word is good right?), get to bed and REPEAT the next day.
All you gotta do is quit today. Don't you think about tomorrow cause we don't worry about tomorrow until it gets here. Just do today, everyday.
Quit all nicotine, this is a no nicotine quit group. No nicogum, patches right?
You can do this. Read all you can here and be quit today. Tomorrow never comes, today is a gift, that's why it's called the present. Quit today, flush it all, burn your nic bridges and pilings, leave nothing that can be rebuilt. Post roll, get quit with the September group.

If I can, you can too. You're not a pussy are YOU?
Keeping my jaw and tongue...I like them.
It's poison I tell ya, You wouldn't drink Liquid Drano, would ya?

Welcome to KTC. Quit immediately. Flush it and post roll right now. You don't need to be in solitary. Let your family know what is going on.

Overdo it on being nice to them and stay close to the site. You can nic rage here and it is okay. Your family doesn't deserve your wrath of detox.

I have been quit for 85 days. Is it worth the pain, sorrow, rage, etc? Hell yes. I love the quit life.

Start now and begin working for your freedom from vice.

Any excuse to put it off is the addict in you thinking. All reasons to quit now will trump your excuses. Listen to logic and reason. Ignore your addicted mind.

START TODAY! Otherwise you're just a slave to your addiction and feel guilty but lack courage.

Don't be a pussy. Just flush it and break the shackles that bind you to your vice.

You are worth it.

JimSTV, welcome, check your inbox in the upper right hand corner.
"CLOSE THE DOOR. In my opinion, it?s the single most important step in your final quit. There is one moment, THE moment, when you finally let go and surrender to the quit. After that moment, no temptation will be great enough, no lie persuasive enough to make you commit suicide by using tobacco."
