The quit is going well. My mouth is watering for a cig but it won't happen Im starting to actually be able to breathe again! Thanks for the support. On another note instead of messing up my focus the lack of nic has given me more energy even if it s a bit irritable.. Im especially impressed by the drive that all of you have thanks!

Thanks especailly to those reaching out.. sorry I may have missed a few

Hey all, so on day one here and wanted to give an introduction. Started smoking in high school then moved to dip.. got up to about a can every couple days and noticed that my gum line was receding so I switched to american spirits. Smoked and continued dipping for about 5 more years quit for one and started again after a breakup. Its time to be over it. I want to be free of this fucking addiction. Its toxic, distracting, a waste of money and killing everyone. I Heard about success stories from this site and from reading some of the posts and visiting the chat room it seems lille you guys have built a strong community and I am very happy to be joining it.
Welcome to the nut house Kaw, You are ready, I quit with you today.
Nice meeting you in chat. Reach out if you need anything.

  • Interests: My family - 2 amazingly brilliant and beautiful children and an equally amazing and beautiful wife. Sports - Mets and Giants for teams, golf for weekends... Bagpipes. Been playing bagpipes longer than I've been dipping. And that's a long friggin' time.

weekends aren't easy Kaw. especially early in your quit.... Have a plan. Be sure not to let your guard down. Saturdays and Sundays are the most frequent days of the week for caves and quitters going MIA.

Have a plan. Proud to be quit with you.
The love you get here is conditional. The condition is that you are quit.

Great to have you! First step to joining: quit nicotine. Give up the poison and come post roll with September tomorrow. Come join us in quitting. The water is fine.
We all want progress, but if you're on the wrong road, progress means doing an about-turn and walking back to the right road; in that case, the man who turns back soonest is the most progressive.

Has tobacco been so kind to you that you should leave it with regret? There are far better things ahead than any we leave behind.

Come join us. Come be quit with us. Rather than slowly commit suicide, slowly regain your health. It might hurt at first, but it won't kill you. And once the birthing process is done you'll find yourself a free man. With friends. And health. And wealth. Come drink at the fountain of quit.
