thanks for the encouragement guys! I appreciate it! I only got bout 4 hours sleep last night, hot flashes all day today and a dull headache BUT I made it through mowing my yard without it which is quite a big deal to me! I'll be posting roll in the morning!

Thanks again! This forum is just what I needed!!

Great choice, Coach!!! 2 days is huge...congrats. you're deep in the suck right now. But you've taken the first step and given your word. So you WILL be nic free today.

"Never again" is hard. That's why we don't ask anyone to make that promise. All we promise when we post roll is "not today"...and anybody can go one day, right? That's all there is to it.

Don't think about tomorrow, next week, or next year...we'll deal with them when they get here. All you need to focus on is "not today." ONE DAY AT A TIME, brother!!!

Coach,

Stay close to this site the first few days and read as much as you can. You'll find that the experiences you read about will be like looking in a mirror. I dipped Skoal/Kodiak from age 16-38 and have been quit for 39 days. The first few days the fog was heavy. I have a 4 y/o daughter and a 15 month old son and a very supportive wife. Don't take the suck out on them - it's not their fault we've let our lives be dictated for 20+ years on when we can get our next nicotine fix.

Just post roll and quit for that one day and then get up and post roll again.

You can do this and I'll quit with you every damn day!

Lighty

I have 2 beautiful young daughters and a supporting wife, as long as I don't get TOO bitchy tryin to quit! Ha Yesterday, June 24th, was my quit day...first full day without snuff felt good, but now I'm awake at 3:45 am cause I can't sleep...day 2 is going to be a little tougher!

Coach if you want to be a part of this site you need to post roll. When you do you are making a promise to quit for today. That's how we quit here one day at a time. Today is day 364 for me. So when you post you use day 2. Unless you post roll and make a promise, there won't be much support for you here. Are you ready to man up? If so here's the instructions, you will be in October 2014 group.

Try these instructions for: PC How to post roll

1. Login, go to your quit page, think about what you are going to post.
2. Find the most recent post
3. hit F5 or refresh the page
4. Press "quote" on the roll
5. Click in the box that has all of the Roll posts (the lower box), hit CTRL-A to select all and Press CTRL-X to CUT, not copy-if you copy, then you'll double post roll.
6. Click to the reply window and press CTRL+V to paste it in. Then write in your name, day and your promise
7. Press submit-done.
