Great decision...glad to have you here among us. Number one thing to keep in mind - INTEGRITY. You come in here every day, post roll and keep your word...all there is to it. I know you understand integrity and we expect it of you.....you in turn can expect it from us...as well as the support you need when you need it. You've heard all the rants and speeches....get numbers, make contacts...ask for help when you need it...BEFORE you get tooclose to caving... you've got this...

Jake,

On the eve of my 200th day quit I read your post and am reminded of my first week as a Quit man. If I have any advice for you it is this.

You have to make your Quit the #1 priority in your life right now.

That means, quite simply, that you would rather lose your girl, lose your job, lose your mind before you put that shit in your lip again. Now, I'm not saying you should go disrespect your woman and quit your job.

Now in order to make this happen you've got to have a solid quit plan. Only you can decide what your plan is but it better include posting roll each and every day.

Congrats on your decision and stay stong

Just spendin some time gettin' familiar with the forum... Actually REALLY active in here.

Haha almost reminds me of the Warrior Forum. That place is bumpin' all the damn time.

Congrats on a great decision! As you are aware, this is not an easy battle. Dig in though brother, make friends and find a ton of support here. Most importantly....Keep battling. Do it minute by minute if you need to, but don't give in. Welcome, let me know if you need anything.

Hope you're doin better than I am... comin up on 5 1/2 hours now and I'm ALREADY chompin gum like crazy!

I'll be honest, I've tried quitting this shit LOTS of times.

Know what always happened? Guess that's obvious... I caved in.

Well I'm pissed. You could say I'm "playin'" for keeps now.

Here to stay... Get help and support when I need it... And do the same for others further down the road when I reach the HOF!
