Quit date is going to be this Monday. Had planned to do it today but wife insists its not on a weekend. Her concern is with irritability around the kids all weekend. I am a recovering alcoholic and this was easy to quit compared to this stuff.  The compulsion to drink doesn’t exist. Not one bit. But this stud has me by the balls. I no with alcoholism it’s about one day at a time. I plan on treating this the same way.

Any recommendations for the first day.

Yo Liplizard,

It is now Tuesday.  What happened, did your addict brain come up with yet another excuse NOT to quit?

This is why all of us urged you to get on roll the day you posted and not wait until Monday.  The more you wait, the more Monday will NEVER come.

If you still want to quit then flush that shit down the toilet now and get in here and post your day one, you will not regret it.  You will regret that you didn't do it when we told you to do it for the rest of your life, but that is now in the past and can't be changed but you can change the here and now.

WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR???
If you want my digits, just ask and they will be yours, but I expect yours in return.

Lizard,

Here is a link to your quit group March 2019 Pre-HOF Quit Group.

Do as Chickdip and Campbellmi13 said and flush that shit now.  Don't wait because Monday may never come if you do.  One Day At A Time(ODAAT) is one of the most repeated mantras on this site, the other WUPP

1. Wake UP
2. Piss
3. Post
4. Keep your word and come back the next day and repeat.

This is posting your promise not to use nicotine for the day.  We post early in the day and take nicotine off the table, then keep our promise and come back the next day and do it all over again.

You post your promise on roll call found in your quit month (The link above).

Don't wait, flush that shit now and get on roll now.  It will be the best decision ever.

PM me for digits after you post roll.
If you want my digits, just ask and they will be yours, but I expect yours in return.

Lizard,

ChickDip has shared some great info links, if there is one item I wish I would have paid more attention to on the first week or two of my quit it is drink lots of water/cranberry juice etc. I started doing that in week three of my quit and it helped me a lot.

Also ditto on don't wait til Monday to quit.
