Hi all, I made it to my 72 hour goal tonight . No problems so far, just the usual stuff coming off nicotine . I have chewed Copenhagen snuff on and off for 20 plus years. I have in the past caved in for no real good reason  starts this viscous circle over and over again. I want this to stick for good this time, I may need words of encouragement along the way, from those of us who understand this addiction . I wish you all the best in your own quit journey. Jim
Welcome Jim!

congrats on the 72 hours! Nicotine is out of your system by now, but you will still experience some side effects... which may include craves... no worries, these will lessen in intensity and get further and further apart....

Some of the folks are asking if you are jamesgordon, I know that you aren't so all is good with that. You no doubt saw when you registered that multiple aliases are a no-no when registering here, people get kind of edgy when they think somebody is coming back with a second alias to avoid accountability here.. (we take accountability very seriously, as you will no doubt learn)

A couple of other side effects that you might expect are loss of sleep, and some folks suffer from depression.... I actually went to my physician,, ( a personal friend of mine- Dr. Roth) and he told me to simply told me to use benadryl to help with sleep. Other folks use melatonin. (none of this is medical advice- simply what works for me)

Welcome aboard, looking forward to you telling us some things about yourself!

Tell us a bit and yourself Jim. Where are you from?
The problem is not the problem.  The problem is your attitude about the problem.  Do you understand?

If its too much trouble to post roll call, you could always fuck off.

James Gordon... the same James Gordon of May 14 fame?... couple things...
1- u can't use a new user name.
2- u have explaining to do... I hope u know now that posting every couple of weeks doesn't work. Get active.
I REALLY hope this is a different JG, I truly do.
This just smells weird if it isn't the original JG. How can there be two James Gordons? That's like two Thumbleworts .... odds are just too high.
I'll be damned.....is it...could it be....no fukin way....but maybe.....the timing is too perfect. Is that you gordo?

bump fix
Some quick research indicates that Gordon version 1.0 was a Kodiak/grizzly dipper in his introduction. The version Gordo v2.0 was a cope user.

Your name comes with some history at this site but don't let that dissuade you. Post roll, honor your word, rinse and repeat.

Welcome aboard.
