I think one thing that will help me stay on track this time is how mad I get at us smokeless and others for selling this stuff and how they don't care about you or your family and friends just your money. The government could put a stop to it if they weren't getting so much money from it to waste. I also live right beside a tobacco patch and some of the stuff they spray on it smells so wicked I just never want anything to do with it again. I hope that bruce317 and Shanelax22 will remember this as just one more reason for us to get over the hump.

This was back in December 2010. index.php?showtopic=4225st=90The day I posted in my group [march 2011] my quit transformed from an idea to reality. I Quit Scowick65...I Quit. Best thing I ever did. As a result, I am still nic free. I also have made some great, great friends. Some really great people. I thank God I posted up on this site. Bro, you need to post up. You obviously have what it takes to quit. With this group, you are doomed to success. That is a fate you want bro. Give me a PM if you want a chat or some support. I am your quit Sherpa. This quit is in you. Let it shine.

This is the magical land of quit.
I would like to tell you a little about my past so you will know why I am here. I am located in North Carolina right in the heart of tobacco land. Our local paper used to say that on the top corner each week. I spent my youth summers working in a tobacco patch for my grandpa and my Dad retired from R.J. Reynolds. It was kind of hard not to be exposed to tobacco. Everyone thought it was such a good thing. One of my friends in high school actually got me started on the can. By the time I was 20 I wished I had never saw this sticky green plant or its products. I slowed down alot until I was 34 I started back full time not because I wanted to but I thought it would relieve stress. I am 38 now and I have not touched it in 19 days. I don't know why everyone says you feel so bad when you quit because without it life just seems so much sweeter. I just never want to have any more nicotine in my body. I bought some of the fake stuff to help so that I will not magically be standing up at the gas n go with crap in my hand. I pray that I never touch it again.
