Just joined up over here, I quit a 2 can of Kodiak a day, 10 year habit just 3 days ago.. Hard isn't the work for it, but I am done, I will never touch that stuff again.. Wish me luck..
Ain't nothing about luck involved in it. I quit a 3 can per day habit that went back 26 years about 88 days ago, to be exact. You aren't hoping, praying, or wishing that you will remain quit. Your mindset should be that you WILL remain quit...period. End of story. No more of that "hope" shit. In here, we do it.

Stay quit.

Luck will have nothing to do with this!

The decision you made to quit is what will help you to quit and stay quit.

Post roll every morning and drink a ton of water it seems strange at first but you will see the purpose even the first day!

Very happy to see you decided to kick kodiak out of your life.

I see you found the board. Nice job. This place will help, it did for me over 2200 days ago. Listen to what people tell you, they speak from experience. Ignore the bashing and loudmouths, different board, same shit. Learn to join your quit group, they will be your brothers quittting the same month or so as you. Should be May 2012 group. I will start to come around more often again (daily) and watch for you. PM me here or over on MGO if you want to talk.

Good Luck

Pain is temporary
This "belief" has allowed me to endure mental and physical stress well beyond what I ever thought possible.

Good stuff. Keep fighting. Stuff anything you want in that pie hole besides cancer candy.

Welcome To Hell! I have been sober for 25hours now. Its amazing how much I think about the dip. I bet I always thought about it. I only notice that I'm thinking about it because I'm not satisfying the craving.

Not wishing you luck. I wish you determination and bad ass commitment! BE A MAN OF YOUR WORD. YOU QUIT. I'm in this fight with you.

Freaking awesome man!!

You don't need luck to kick this. It isn't luck, it is a decision. The great thing is you don't have to do it alone. You definitely came to the right place.
Get on this site, read stuff, post on the forums when you get pissed off, post roll FIRST THING every morning and quit with us. We quit 1 day at a time.

You CAN do this. I am sure someone will post with a bunch of links to resources and whatever. I am only 10 days in but that is 10 days farther than I have ever been. We are in this together.

Happy Quit day bro.
