Our first stop is in the deep south of Georgia to pick up Dippedoff. This married father of 3 started dipping at 15 and used to chew Kodiak and Skoal Wintergreen. He works in his family's business and enjoys all things Georgia sports including the Falcons, Braves and the UGA Bulldogs! He enjoys fishing and spending all that time he used to spend dipping with his family. His words of wisdom are find positive activities to fill the time we used to spend dipping. Dippedoff thanked everyone for what they do here at KTC to keep it up and running. He does not plan on posting to 200 but will check in from time to time (I hope we can talk you out of that plan brother!) He will be celebrating today by finally telling his wife that he has quit.

Congratulations Dippedoff on reaching the HOF!
Congrats on day 100. I would like to see you hang around for 200 remember that posting roll and using this site has gotten you this far. It would be a damn shame to cave after hitting a great milestone.

Sportsfan - "Stick around become a friend"

I am not saying that I lack faith in your ability to stay quit but that I see flaws in not pledging to stick around with your brothers and continue along a proven path.

Celebrate today, consider the long term affects that is all that I ask of you.

I have dipped for so long, this could be a long one, but will make it a short read. My first dip was on the way to football camp in 10th grade and I have been married to the nic bitch ever since. I am sure I can't tell any of you anything you don't know about her.  It started out as a novelty and we would go to the fisherama and buckarama each time and come home with bags of dip they happily gave out to us. Not playing the victim here, but I'd like to go back and kick their asses now, I had no idea of the power of this addiction and never thought of it at the time. I am 46 now, so I have about 30 years that was tailored around how and when I could get a dip. I have been married for 17 years, have an 11  9 year old daughter and a 2 1/2 yr son.  My wife has tried to be a driving force in the quit, but she doesn't understand the power of the nic bitch and that's what had me searching the web when I found this site. It made a difference in my attitude that all of you have had the same experiences and I look forward to each day that I am going into battle, knowing there is a group of guys that are right there with me to help when I need it and where I can do the same.
hay man thats grate you found us and i will gess figgered out roll call. now did you share this place with the wife? man cuz theres lots a stuff here for spouses to.
Yep. The day that I came clean with my wife and got her on board with my quit, she became my strongest supporter. Up until then, she had no idea what I was dealing with. Sounds like your exact situation. At the very least, make sure your wife reads the info in the spouse's section.

So, you're dippedoff? Me too. Read my HOF speech (linked below) and you'll probably agree. Except for the "habit" references. I was a dumbass then. I was an addict, and always will be. Anyway, turn your anger towards Big Tobacco, nicotine, and everything associated with it. That's been a strong tool for me.

Any of us will help you at any time. Just drop a PM.
Hey Dippedoff welcome aboard. The journey is going to suck but it will be worth it. The more you read the more you'll see most of us are the same. I started dipping in 9th grade after football practice, and I'm 43 now (sound familiar) Trust me when I tell you what it looks like a few have told you already. No one is more helpful than your wife. For me, she didn't believe me when I told her I was quitting with the help of KTC and I felt it would be different. But after going through the site with me she's on board and often asks me what day I'm on in my quit. Other than that all I can tell you is get as angry as you can and use that anger to help your quit. Your addiction is telling you you need to live with a plant in your mouth. That's flat out bullshit!!! Fight against it with everything you've got. Good luck.

Welcome aboard my bro. Looking forward to seeing your name in Nov13 quit group. Like Wt said non-addicts don't understand whats going in our heads so stick around here and get hooked up with some folks who do. Nobody is gonna let you off the hook with all the insidious bullshit that nic will start, and continue, to throw your way in order to drag you back down in the pit. You're here now so stay and start getting honest. I'll PM you my number should you choose to try this thing out.

Peace.

Ok great on your decision to quit glad you posted roll! Your a bad ass! Have you called Wayne or sent him a text? He is a bad ass that drops quit knowledge like a seagull drops shit, take him up on his offer if you haven't. This is going to suck for awhile, in fact it's gonna probably be pure unadulterated hell. But you can do it, we all have! One day at a time is all we have to quit. I quit with you as hard as I can. Erussell -112-

Great choice to quit; better choice to do it with KTC! Read as much as you can on the site, and get involved! Own your quit. Lots of bad asses here to help you anyway they can, but you need to take charge of your quit. PM me if you need anything.

You are on the right path. Welcome to KTC, i'm only on day 9 but damn glad to be here. Some of the guys on KTC are almost 10 years in on this quit day by day method, and it sure as hell does work, it's not another - let me try to quit and see how long this will take me. Because you and I both know, in the back of your head you will give that weed another shot sometime down the road, and thats why we all end up here. How about you throw out your cans and join the club by posting day 1 in the November 2013 HOF quit group? The guys in charge will walk you through the rest of the process, i have not been around long enough to really understand it all, but i already know this is the best damn thing that's happened to my life, it could be for you too.

Update, just noticed you were already on board. Welcome. Get some numbers, it really helps.
Yup - we're never cured. It's a daily battle that'll bite you in the ass as soon as you feel invincible. Welcome.
Nonaddicts can't understand the control of the shit but all of us can that's why you need to bring your questions, experiences, pain and rage to us rather than the family. We can handle and understand it, but don't try any excuses or justification for caving or not posting roll daily you will be set straight.
