Hello all,
My name is Blake and I am from West Tennessee. I started dipping the same way I am sure many of you did; giving it a try here and there as a senior in High School, and eventually letting it consume me and letting it become a full-on addiction as a college student. I have been dipping every day for around five years now. I am a recent college graduate and my life has changed a lot in the past few months. I am engaged and getting married to the woman of my dreams in two months, March 17th. She will be my rock and main encourager through this journey.
Although this is my first ever post, this is not the first time I have frequented this website. I woke up one morning as a junior in college and decided to stop. I read this site a lot and it really helped me. One day, however, after around two months nicotine free, and decided, oh dipping cannot be that bad... and started right back like I never stopped.
I deal with and see addiction on a daily basis in my career. I see how it changes people and essentially rules their lives. Sure, most of these people are on Methamphetamine, Prescription Pills, or Heroine, but I see my addictive struggles in the same people I aim to help.
I want to quit and stay quit. I am going to be much more involved with this support group this time around and offer any help I can to others in return.
My last dip was at 6:00 pm on 12/31/17. I am almost 29 hours nicotine free and thereÂ’s no turning back. Each hour is an accomplishment in my eyes.
