Glad to see you posting roll. Make the commitment to never let nicotine be the answer to any perceived issue you are going through. From this point on, you do something else. Never Again For Any Reason! NAFAR

Congrats on starting the next stage of your life man.

Don't think that you are quit forever. We quit for today. Hell, sometimes you have to quit for the moment. You see, I can control this moment. Any future talk is just that...TALK!

You've posted roll and that's awesome. That's step 1. That's your promise and your cry for help in this battle. We'll have your back in this quit. We won't judge you for feeling weak but we will not accept excuses when failure is experienced. Own your shit. That's all we ask.

Quitting ain't easy sometimes. Ask for help when you need. Ask for help when you don't. We're here and we need you to keep us quit as well.

What's your plan to quit?
In the end I Surrender, I and I alone accept that I have and always will have a Nicotene ADDICTION. It is my choice to quit, but I can't do it alone. I get to go down this path one time, I want to do it right. I recognize that my word, my integrety to you is on the line and is only as good as my actions. Caving is not an option in this plan-Eafman 7/11

I am not cured. I will quit one day at a time. I will continue to do what works. Posting roll everyday. To do otherwise would be foolish on my part. You can do this-Ready 12/11

To overcome your addiction you must comprehend what it means to fail-Razd 3/12

Theres a lot of people that come here, especially vets, that WANT to be reminded that they are addicts.-Tarpon 6/12

Just as a building starts with architectural drawings. Your daily quit begins with a promise.-Scowick 2/13

Here and now, focused on today, minute by minute, whatever it takes, I promise to all my bros and myself not to become a negative stat and stay quit!-krok 1/15

I want everyone to be quit. Even the assholes.-Probe1957 1/18

Nice job posting roll. DonÂ’t worry about screwing it up. The only way to screw up roll is by not being on roll.

Get as active in your quit group as your life allows. At a minimum, post roll early every morning.

Come on Blake, post roll, or at least come back! Quitting is easier with other people.

Hello all,

My name is Blake and I am from West Tennessee. I started dipping the same way I am sure many of you did; giving it a try here and there as a senior in High School, and eventually letting it consume me and letting it become a full-on addiction as a college student. I have been dipping every day for around five years now. I am a recent college graduate and my life has changed a lot in the past few months. I am engaged and getting married to the woman of my dreams in two months, March 17th. She will be my rock and main encourager through this journey.

Although this is my first ever post, this is not the first time I have frequented this website. I woke up one morning as a junior in college and decided to stop. I read this site a lot and it really helped me. One day, however, after around two months nicotine free, and decided, oh dipping cannot be that bad... and started right back like I never stopped.

I deal with and see addiction on a daily basis in my career. I see how it changes people and essentially rules their lives. Sure, most of these people are on Methamphetamine, Prescription Pills, or Heroine, but I see my addictive struggles in the same people I aim to help.

I want to quit and stay quit. I am going to be much more involved with this support group this time around and offer any help I can to others in return.

My last dip was at 6:00 pm on 12/31/17. I am almost 29 hours nicotine free and thereÂ’s no turning back. Each hour is an accomplishment in my eyes.
Blake - welcome!

Your next step is to post roll in the April quit group. There are instructions on how to post roll at the top of every page, and there's also a video that you might find useful: Posting Roll on KTC Kill the Can

We post roll every day here, first thing. It's our promise to not use nicotine for the day. Wake up, make that promise, then keep it for the next 24 hours. Then do it again the next day, one day at a time, and you'll be amazed at how quickly those days will pile up. It really is life-changing.

I'll be looking for you to post roll in April. Proud to quit with you today!
