Rule #1 - Post Roll. Rule #1 - Quit, Quit, Quit.

Intro spiel:

Start here, in the Welcome Center - it will help orient you to what is going on.

If you are wondering how to quit, read this. Our process is simple - post roll, keep your promise, and quit for today. You have to quit for YOU and pay whatever price necessary.

Quit One Day At A Time (ODAAT), and QLF all day long. Visit the site a lot, it will get you through the crap. You have to make this quit about YOUR desire to quit; for me it was my independence followed by about a hundred other reasons. I used this post, this survivor story, and wrote a much less eloquent version of this letter. The basic question is this: Are you man (or woman) enough to quit?

Your spouse/significant other should probably read this. . . just don't let them find out about each other though 'Crazy'

You should literally drink GALLONS of water and will probably want to look at these helps too. Those tricks will help you minimize the withdrawal symptoms. I found these smokeless alternatives helpful to beat the mind games (specifically Hooch/Hooch Spitfire for its consistency and Smokey Mountain for its availability; make your own decision though!). Some quitters are legit hard core and quit with iron will... but I was a baby quitter with hooch and a KTC Chatroom iv drip.

The key is to stay quit. You may have to quit for the next minute, then the next minute, but the trick is to break the quit down and keep it alive.
How to post Roll Call. Post early and remember that it doesn't have to be perfect - the only way to really screw roll is not to be on it.

Stay quit. Post Roll
I was a ninja dipper, but I will have a berserker quit - Here's some encouragement

NEVER Ring the Bell! Watch this. It will change your life.

When a crave hits watch this.

"Everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about. Be Kind Always."

?Gentlemen, we are going to relentlessly chase perfection, knowing full well we will not catch it, because nothing is perfect. But we are going to relentlessly chase it, because in the process we will catch excellence. I am not remotely interested in just being good. ? ~ Vince Lombardi

"We all have our own demons that we face on a day to day basis. Some we can talk to others about. Some that we have to work through on our own. ...the nic bitch continues to knock on the doors my friends. Stay strong, stay vigilant." - Fireheeler; 6/11/14 in AUG14

Never cured, but quitting like this

What cost is too high?

Well, from Iowa, been chewing since I was 20 years old (19 years ago). My last dip was at 5:00pm CST on Tuesday, right before seeing a hypnotist. Today has been pure hell.
Welcome Slickl. If you flushed your stash and gotten rid of any lingering cans, pinches, pouches, etc., get into the Sept 2014 group and post your promise that you will not use nicotine in any form today. Keep your promise. That's it. Tomorrow wake up and repeat.

The first week or so is going to be brutal and there will be bumps after that, but remember this: your worst day quitting is better than your best day dipping. You can do this and you deserve every minute of "the suck." It serves a dual purpose: 1) punishment for letting that poison run your life for so long (us too), 2) remember how awful it is to guarantee yourself that you never want to have to go through it ever again.

Proud to be quit with you today. If you need anything just holler. Get to know some if not all the Sultans in the September 2014 group. It will help immensely to see that others are enduring the same b.s. you are going through. Get on roll today and start to read everything you can.
