Ron,

You titled this thread "First step to Freedom" Are you free or are you going to continue to be a fucking slave to the little can you hold so dear. You have no freedom Ron, you are a slave to that little f@#$ing can in your pocket. Always scheming when to put that next lip turd in aren't ya? Just think, a slave to a whore who costs you countless amounts of coin, hours wasted thinking about her and if you are real unlucky she might just take part of your face or give you the BIG C. That's right Ron, keep shoving that shit in your face and when you are ready for some real FREEDOM, come back here, hike up your skirt and post roll. We'll show you how to quit, we'll support you and won't even ask for penny to do it.................Ball is in your court!

Welcome Ron

If you have any questions feel free to send me a message im here to help.
Welcome to the group, Ron. I am a newbie as well (on Day 5 here). You will take some shit from time to time on here, but it's worth it. It took me a few days to figure out everything this site has to offer:

- Post Roll every day. It took me a few days to get the hang of how you do that. It is cool to see the other guys who quit the same day or same week.
- Read a few of these Introductions. There are a lot of stories out there, but most of them start just like yours . . . . took a first dip at 15 or 16 or whatever, and now ready to QUIT
- Use the email function if there is a guy around you that you want to connect with.
- Exchange your phone number with at least 2 guys. Ya sounds creepy texting random guys but they aren't random guys -- addicts just like you and me.

Good luck on Day 1!
Yeah I think it will take a couple of days to figure everything out. But it will give me something to do.
Yeah, like picking another quit date. Not even a one and done here.
Some of my fondest and clearest memories are peeing in places that aren't bathrooms.

Ron where the fuck are you? Get your ass to roll and quit with me. You're stronger than this shit! If you don't want to post roll or are worried, call me. Maybe we can talk this through.

Brother Ron

The shit we've been through, seen and done makes me positive that we can quit today. I don't know about tomorrow or the day after that, but we can do anything for a day. I'm going to pm you my digits. Get on KakaoTalk and send me your id after you create it and I'll add you to our October Titans of Quit group chat. There's tough love, rough talk, inappropriatly funny humor and a great group of Quitters! We're only as strong as our fire team or boat crew, and I want you on mine.
I deal with the evil Bitch of PTSD and Panic Disorder, along with a half-broken body and just got medically retired also. I can't quit for you, but I'll quit alongside you!
Post roll every day, keep you word to Quit, get in the group chat and let's execute this Quit!
Tom
Ron, TSJ just signed up recently here as well and has just given you as solid of a piece of advice as you would get from a Veteran quitter on here. Take his advice, get his digits and post roll. No need to wait until tomorrow, a day that may never come.........

Welcome Ron. My advice to you? Chuck the can RIGHT NOW. Don't wait until you finish with this tin, or for tomorrow, or for whatever arbitrary start date you've set for yourself. Is it gonna be hard? Fuck yeah. Especially those first few days. But packing today isn't gonna make your quit any easier tomorrow.

When I came on to this site contemplating quitting I had the same thoughts as you. "I want to quit, but I'll wait till tomorrow. Or till I finish up this freshly purchased tin. Or till after the 4th that's better, no way I can make it through the holiday". Then I read the story of Tom and Jenny Kern and walked straight into the bathroom to empty out my can. Today will be the 12th full day of my quit, but my first victory over the nic bitch came the second I flushed that poison down the toilet.

Toss the can, chalk one up in the win column, and post roll with the Titans every day from here on out.

Hello everyone,

My name is Ron and this is the first time of me actually joining a group on the web to help me to quit chewing. I been doing since I was 15 and well it has been almost 14 years now. And I have tired to quit multiple times I would last a week or two and then something extreme would happen in my life. It could range from dealing with PTSD, anxiety issues, Depression, stress and with my son Ben which who is special needs and just overall finance issues after being medically retired from the military. I had my goal originally set for my birthday which is coming up soon. But I figured maybe after starting on here and reading through peoples stuff and such I could just start on the 10th of this month. This is going to be rough to get through. But I figured this would be enough for a intro for now. And I will continue to read to see how and where I am suppose to post my day one and such. Once tomorrow comes around.

Thanks for your times and hope to hear some advice and such

Ron
Ron just read your intro and I feel for you, but if you want to use this site, be quit. What will magically happen on the 10th that can't happen right now this minute. Take your can of chew and flush it down the toilet, make a statement in your life that you no longer want to be tied to a fucking poison. You've posted on this site 5 times without a roll call. A roll call is a post that is a one day promise to quit dipping. That should be your first post. Take charge of your life Ron and post roll today. I'll walk you through how to do it. Or you can continue to be an addict until the 10th, or the 11th or the 15th....Get some stones.
Ron, Are you quit yet?

Welcome Sillvain!

This site will help you stay accountable to your quit. The key is to post roll every morning. Posting roll is your promise to the fellow quitters in your group to quit nicotine for that day. Don't think ahead, just think about today. I bet you can quit for one day, then tomorrow, wake up and think about quitting for that one day. One day at a time (ODAAT).

Your foundation for quitting will only be as strong as you make it. Spend time on the site, make friends, soldify your quit. It is much harder to cave and go back to nicotine when you consider the people in your quit group friends. Drink the KTC kool-aid and commit to quit.

I saw in one of your other posts that you are former Army, hooah!(i hate that word haha). I am currently active duty and stationed in germany. I am sure we could share some interesting stories about our time in the service.

Head on over to the welcome center to read all about how to make the most of your time at KTC WELCOME CENTER
