A little about Maddog

Well everyone I am 40 years old with 4 kids. I have quit chewing off and on for the last 5 years for months at a time. I quit yet again a few weeks back. But it just get harder everytime. My wife and kids have been outof town for a few weeks and will be for a few more weeks also. So know is the time.

I have used nicotine since the age of 16. I have smoked, chewed, and love cigars. I have reach the conclusion I am never going to be able to have just one cigar or cigarette or chew..........I am done.

I was really waivering yesterday when I ran across this site and felt I was not alone in this anymore........even with my family being out of town. I will make it this time......I have all the fake chew I think I will need to make for the few more weeks I will need it. I guess my official date of quit was July 7th 2008 since I had smoked at one point in between my original stop day and then.

Anyway I look forward to being here.......I am located in Phoenix Arizona by the way.

Glad your here. This place works. Just bein around folks that are there with you or have been where you are provides a foundation to build a lifetime of quit.....not to mention the friendships with complete strangers you may develop.
