hey Asilva30, You're not alone. We've all done Day 1!!! Do it and do it hard. I hope that your beginning hurts like a mother! I hope it hurts real bad so you'll remember "NOT" to do it again! NAFAR = never again for any reason!
At day 228 I can tell you that you have made the best decision of your life. You can do this ONE DAY at a TIME.
Your life will change for the better in all areas! Stick with the program, guzzle the kool aid, read like a mad man, chat like teenager, QUIT like an ADDICT, yes you're an addict in case you didn't know. I am a nicotine addict, we all are. We didn't sign up to get addicted to the poison, but we did. Now we are taking our lives back from the nicotine bitch and industry and living like we were born, that is "without" the poison in our mouth!
Cheers to you, better daze are ahead. Real life is ahead. press on, quit every a.m. the earlier the better. make it to bed. wake and REPEAT!
Keeping my jaw and tongue...I like them.
It's poison I tell ya, You wouldn't drink Liquid Drano, would ya?

Thank you guys for the support and its hard but I have been drinking water and chewing on bubble gum all day
do you exercise? get moving and it'll clear your head. for some reason the endorphins kick the bitch in the face. use this as an opportunity to take better care of your body. stay focused, read, exercise, read, exercise, = :D
quit with you, and pm if you need anything...

Hang in the Asilva30, I am just now emerging from the "suck, fog, funk, misery" whatever you wanna call it. I am know there is plenty of pain left to go but I am finally saying, "hell yeah, I can do this".

Stay the course, get on here and read, read, read. Post roll, and reach out when you need to. There are many vets on here that have all been there and know exactly what your going through.

Just remember, this is life or death my friend.

Welcome to ktc. Congratulation's on making the decision to quit and save your life. First thing you need to do is go find the April 13' HOF class and go post roll call. You will find alot of support on this site, we have all been where you are at one point. The first few day's are the worst but it does get better, just embrace it and remember what the first week feels like so you will know that you never want to go back to the nic. If you need any help with anything at all just pm me. I quit with you today.

Hello I'm Asilva30 and today I'm quitting I'm finally putting my foot down and saying enough is enough
Great decision and welcome aboard! Check out the April 2013 group, post daily roll, your daily promise to quit there. Need help? Just ask and someone will be along to help. We have your back and I quit with you today.
Quit 8/14/12 and taking my life back one day at a time.

If you don?t control what you have access to, what you have access to will control you.

I?m trying to remind myself daily it?s not the absence of conflict that determines whether or not my relationships are healthy. It?s knowing how to handle the conflicts that will arise.
