Pretty fucking excited to quit he said. So excited he never came back! So excited he probably ran out and grabbed a can / tin and had a celebratory lipper! What the fuck ever. Moving on.

How many of these do we actually see here on a daily basis folks? So fucking many I bet chewie could delete all the single posts and clean the sites database up by half a gig or so if not more! I know,...... Nerd computer website talk. I'll shut up now.

The foundation of this site is posting your promise 1st thing in the morning every day. Collect phone numbers from those in your group so you can give someone a call when you feel like your about to cave. Spend a lot of time reading intros and HOF speeches. There's a lot to be learned from everyones testimonies here.

Glad you've made the decision to quit. It's not easy but you can do it.

I'm proud to be quit with you today Ryan!
Where y'at Ryan? Words on an intro around here don't mean much.... What does carry weight is you having the stones to pull yourself outta bed EVERY DAMN Morning, post roll, and HONOR your post by not stuffing crap in your mouth that day.

So what's it gonna be? Talk? or Quit?
Quit hopefully. I put the whole situation out in the post including links so I don't know is not an option at this point ;) I made it so that can never be used as an excuse.

Cut and dry bud as was said by CavMan83 .

Just one and you will be back where you started.
And where you started was desperately wishing
you were where you are right now.

Ryan,

These two pretty much laid it out there, so nothing to add other than Welcome! You can do this if you stick with it and commit.

Welcome. There's not much to add to that.

I will say - take this very seriously. For a while your quit should be the most important thing in your life. How long? That's different for everyone, but for a good few weeks, anyway.

Forever, your quit will have to be an important part of your life. Read that as saying - you are an addict. I am an addict, and so is everyone else here. We will never be former addicts. And as such, we can never let our guard down.

But more of that later. For now, concentrate on today. Stay quit today, and do the same thing tomorrow.

Most importantly- post roll! That is the price of admission here.

Hi Ryan, you have surely come to the right place.

There are a couple quick things you need to know.

1. There is a price to admission. It is to post your roll (daily promise to not use nic) daily. EARLY! Here is your quit group. topic/11679548/124/
and here is how to post roll at KTC https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RmDgTPJ6HyM

2. We never under any circumstance use any form of NRT (Gum, patches, vapes, lozenges, no nothing) This includes but not limited to dip, leaf, plug, cigarettes/cigarillos, and for god sakes please never smoke a stogie! We have guys cave and said but it was only a stogie they don't count right? WRONG!!! It is nic!

3. Don't be scared. Build your network of bad ass quitters. Exchange phone numbers. GASP!!! Phone numbers? Yep. That may be your only lifeline in a cave situation. I know trading numbers with complete strangers seems rather odd but it is truly the way.

We see cavers here. yes it does happen just like drug and alcohol relapse. The guys it does happen to are the guys that don't post roll daily and regularly as in early, they exchanged NO phone numbers, and they didn't talk in the forums with their brothers of quit. They simply posted and ghosted. Meaning maybe a roll post and gone. You need to be active in your quit. OWN IT! Don't let this addiction own you! Fight back! You are worth it!

So lets get to the brass tacks here. What is going to happen? You are going to feel like shit. Utter fucking shit. Remember that feeling and remember it well. Why? So when you decide to cave, you can recall that feeling and think about if it is worth it to go through again or not. We call it the suck. In that suck will be the fog. Things will just not be right, they wont feel right. You will just be off your game. How long does it last? Only time will tell. everyone is different. Craves, they are going to happen. Nothing you can do to stop it. How do we fight it? Glad you asked.

Early in my quit, I LIVED in live chat. it was a life saver. I chewed the hell out of sun flower seeds. I drank the fuck out of water. Exercise works too. In my case, I have a very bad back so most exercise is limited as I can barely walk most days. So live chat it was.

We are all here for you man as long as you are here for us. It is a team effort. Sure we break each group up in to quit groups, but that does not make you any different than any other group new or old. Groups are awesome. They show me where I was once upon a time and where I can be in the future if I stick with it. Go mingle, chat, get to know folks. Don't be shy man jump right in. Use this introduction as your daily blog of quit if you must. that is what a lot of folks do. Use this place like a smorgasboard man. Take what you want and leave the rest for someone else in need.

So come on in and take a drink of the kool aid. It is a new flavor this month. it is called Quit Like A Mother Fucker! It tastes great!

Take care man and jump on roll please. I quit with you EDD (every damn day)!

Hi I'm Ryan. I am excited to start quitting and make this the last time that I am going to put that poison in my mouth. I have struggled with this addiction for years. I have tried to quit with the patch and gum and nothing has worked. I know now that the power of community support will be the only way to win out. I am in a sober living for drug and alcohol addiction so I want all drugs and toxins out of my system. I have had enough. I am tired of funding big tobacco. I don't want cancer.

Let's go!!!

Ryan
