Props to RyGuy51. He had a rough day today and instead of caving he reached out to other members of the June team. That's how its done my brother! I am proud to quit with you today.
Thanks man hell if it wasn't for you I would be a mess right now. Got the support I need to get through this. Hopefully things will clear up in the next couple of days.

Unlike quitting products, total adherence to a personal commitment to not violate the law of addiction provides a 100% guarantee of success. Although obedience may not always be easy, the law is clear, concise and simple - no nicotine today, not one puff, dip or chew!

Alright man I will! Cant wait to kick this bad habit right in the dick.
You do not have a habit. You, like me, have an addiction. We are addicts. If you understand the next statement and keep it in your mind every single minute of the day (because only today counts and we worry about tomorrow when it gets here.....if it gets here) then, you will be okay.

ONE IS TOO MANY AND A THOUSAND IS NEVER ENOUGH.

You are an addict. You have an addiction to nicotine.

How do you do this?

Post roll. Give your promise to yourself and to everyone here, that you will not use nicotine in any form today.
Keep your word. 24 hours is all you need to do. Then repeat. Never more than today.
Keep that shit out of your mouth. Get seeds, gum, red hots, straws, toothpicks and even your thumb. Anything works......but that shit.

I'll kick a dick......I'm cool like that.

Chicks do it. Quitting like a girl.....

Thank you for the words of wisdom and advice. You are right I am an addict. Ill keep that statement running through my head today.
Congrats on the quit! I am 214 days quit and my addiction wants me to put a big nasty fat dip in but, I WILL NOT CAVE, I post my promise every day to not use, believe me, it would be easy to cave right now even this far along in my quit. I have been ignoring the Nic Bitch but she hits me up every day.

It is not going to be a easy road to go down, but if I can do it, you can too.

Just remember what Ginet said, its an ADDICTION not a habit.

I quit with you today.
2 Timothy 1:7 - For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

Get over to the Pre-HOF June 2016 Group and post roll for today if you haven't already. That is your promise to not use Nicotine in any form for 24 hours to the brothers in your quit group and most importantly to yourself. Make posting everyday part of your morning ritual. It's much easier to say no when the Nic Bitch comes calling when I've made a commitment and given my word to others. Do lots of reading on this site, prepare for success with something to fight the oral fixation; seeds, herbal snuff, life savers, toothpicks and whatever else you can think of.

Welcome aboard Ryan. Good to see another young guy with something between his ears other than dip. I wish I had been smart enough to quit in my 20s. I'll let one of the vets explain the forum and how to use it since I am still learning myself. One thing you should ask yourself though is why are you really quitting? Are you quitting for your wife and kid or are you quitting for you? In my experience at least, that answer will determine how successful you are.
Hey thanks man ! I appreciate it. The biggest reason I am quitting is for myself, but I also know that it will make a great positive effect on my family and keep me cancer free. I'm tired of being a slave.

Hey Guys
« on: March 16, 2016, 10:32:00 PM »
Hey everyone my name is Ryan. I'm 23 years old and have been dipping for about 6 years. during high school and college it wasn't a big deal for me to be dipping. it was just one of those things that everyone in my group did. well it turned into a serious personal habit. since then I have gotten married and now have a baby boy due in a month. I want to do right by him and my wife and make sure that I am here and that I do not open that door for him just bc he always saw daddy do it. I hope that this program helps.
