Here are the instructions to post roll:

index.php?showtopic=50

You'll be in January quit group I believe.

1. Wake Up
2. Post roll that you will be nic free for today
3. Keep your promise
4. Repeat tomorrow

Easy enough?

Thanks Guys... trying again this week. Day 1.
Hey there is no TRY!

OK here goes......you may think I'm bustin you up a bit with this but I'm gonna say it:

You still have not posted on here that you are an addict! Someone else sent you that advice earlier on. Once you can understand you are an addict you'll understand you can't "try" to quit. As an addict there is no such thing as "one dip" and I'll quit again.....that is your addiction telling you to ingest nicotene again to get what it needs!

Yup....the withdrawals suck for about 5 days.....you just gotta suck it up! You put the poisen in your body so you'll have to pay to get it out!

So what do you say? Are you addicted to Nicotene? Post roll and I'll quit with you!

I did this same thing right before my quit. Buy a can, use for a few dips and throw away. Rinse, repeat. Toss it, leave it, don't pull up quick to retrieve it. You can do this. You just have to admit, like they said below, that you are an ADDICT. It's not a habit, picking your nose is a habit. Stuffing your face with chemical dirt is an addiction. We'll spot you if you lift the weight.
Your mind is a lying, cheating, stealing whore. Your body is a saint. Now, who are YOU going to listen to?

stop for a week...  then crash... buy can,  get pissed and chuck can only to repeat process next day.  I am buying a can for ONE dip and then chucking it.  Frustrating.
It is so frustrating. :(

You know what's even more frustrating??? Dieing from cancer.

30 and whip offered you some great advice below...you just got to decided what matters most to you.
MACHEEL, you have to say the magic word, and the door will open for you.

And the magic word is.....

ADDICT.

As long as you run from this word, you'll be nicotine's bitch. And maybe even the very next dip will make you cancer's bitch as well.

When you learn to say "I am an addict", you'll have learned the first survival skill for an addict who doesn't use. There are many more, and we can teach them to you. But that one comes first.

And by the way, I am an addict.
"Stupid is as stupid does"

Ready to buckle up and get this done? 30yrs I dipped. Started when I was in little league...If I can do this so can you. Just follow this simple program:

1. Post Roll- This is your promise not to use nicotine in any form for just one day. You can do anything for just one day- can't you?

2. Honor that promise

3. Wake up tomorrow and repeat.

Get through these first days and you will never have to repeat them.

You can do this- but you have to decide that nicotine is off limits today.
