Welcome Grizz! I can relate to your intro. My main reason for Quitting is becasue I was so sick and tired of having to drop what I was doing to get my fix. Most of the time I didn't even enjoy the buzz anymore. It was mostly just a matter of trying to put out the flames of withdrawal. After 360 days, it is so nice not to have to say "how high" every time withdrawal says "jump!" anymore.

I am lucky enough to "telecommute" for the last ~13yrs... so I have had very little reason NOT to have a dip in... I would put on it, leave it for ~45 mins. Take it out and IF I WAS LUCKY wait 15 mins before grabbing another.

You got through your first 3 days - and that is great. Some of the hards is getting the nic out of the body. From this point is becomes a "mind game" .... so tell me -- Are you gonna lose to your own mind???

(that is one of the ideas that got me through... How the F*$ was I gonna lose a battle against my own mind?!?!)

Welcome, Grizz! You're so young, but that's already a cr@pload of cancer weed you've consumed! I know you feel invincible, like cancer is for us "old folks" (I know, I used to be 22 ;) ), but at the rate you're going, you could be missing at least some teeth, maybe some jaw, by 30. Not to mention all the blown $$$. Dip certainly wont help your dating life either! :blink: Stick to your guns, and quit on!

Fact, time to man up!! great choice to quit brother!! Read everything you can in these walls. There is so much information and support in this place. I noticed you have already posted roll in July 17. Keep that up, everyday and early cause 24 hours at a time is how we all do it!! Make that promise for 24 hours. Wake up and do it again tomorrow!! I have already sent a pm with my number. Share yours with your quit brothers of July as well. Great to see you!

Hey guys, I am almost 23 and have been dipping since I was 15.. For the past 4 years I would go through 1-2 tins a day, the only time i didnt have a lip in was when eating and sleeping... I'm sick of being a slave to it and its time to man up a quit for good. I am currently on day 2 and cant wait for the day when i am not reaching for my tin every 30 mins.
