BL, you aren't alone. I also quit on the fifth and joined this today. And, I also am in the neighborhood (JO). No better place to quit than here (wherever here is) and now. After 12 years of Cope, it wasn't fun any more. Good luck and keep going. We arepast the toughest part.

Well I am on day 9 on this journey. I started when I was about 14-15 years old, I am 32 now, I have been married for 9 years and have 2 daughters. Like everyone here, I'm sure, this is not my first time quitting, this time I am actually doing it for myself and not because someone else wants me to. I am currently deployed to the Middle East so this is probably the best and worst place to make this decision. I hope this is time quitting is the last time, I want the monkey off my back for good.
Blredneck13, Congratulations on your decision and I'm glad it is your choice, that is important.
Find you quit group, post roll call every day, first thing. repeat.
Get active on KTC, there are a lot of military folks retired and active.
Thanks for your service, let me know if you need any help
