Hey man I'm really glad when I see young guys get there head screwed on early in life. I'm a old bastard that wasted over 40 years and tens of thousands of dollars. Shoot me a pm and I'll be glad to share my number. I've been burnt by so many young guys over the past few years that I was reluctant to extend the offer but for some reason I think your truly genuine and that you recognize the battle your in for. So glad I didn't hear any pissy whining about how hard it was gonna be with school getting over. Couple heads up; avoid drinking, read all you can on the site when you can't sleep and get active in your group. Even though you haven't been using too long your just as much of an addict as any of us. I will promise you a couple things; it's gonna be hard and it is possible!

I have dipped for just over a year and a half, and I'm done with it. I have tried quitting but the community I am in almost every male person around me dips. I am going off to college next year and I don't want girls to look at me and think "ew look at his yellow teeth and big gums". I want to be happy without a dip in my mouth and be able to say no. I've chewed since I was 16 and I want to say I quit before I was out of high school, and shit there's only a month left of that so I need to put my ass into gear, one of my friends suggested this site and I'm desperate for someone to goto when I go through the withdrawals. I usually chew a can and a half a day.
Hey Joeyconeill,

Dude it's totally possible. I'm 13 days quit in a community very similar to what you describe. I am around guys EVERY DAY who use, but I don't. I chose to quit yesterday. I chose to quit today. I will choose to quit tomorrow. It's that simple - HATE the nicotine (the "Nic Bitch") and come here for support.

Your plan worries me though, and you need to think about why you are quitting. You will fail if you are not quitting for YOU. Forget girls, forget bragging rights, or any other external reason.

IF you are serious and quitting for yourself, post your Day 1. Post roll every. single. day. and keep your promise not to use nicotine in any form - you do that and you'll have my full support.

What say you?
Glad you're quit brother. Work the program by the letter if you want to succeed, seriously. Pretty soon seeing a dude with dog shit in his mouth and spitting in a bottle will become very unattractive, repulsive even. Be glad you're no longer that dude. And be glad when you're not wishing you were that dude.

I was a ninja dipper, but I will have a berserker quit - Here's some encouragement

NEVER Ring the Bell! Watch this. It will change your life.

When a crave hits watch this.

"Everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about. Be Kind Always."

?Gentlemen, we are going to relentlessly chase perfection, knowing full well we will not catch it, because nothing is perfect. But we are going to relentlessly chase it, because in the process we will catch excellence. I am not remotely interested in just being good. ? ~ Vince Lombardi

"We all have our own demons that we face on a day to day basis. Some we can talk to others about. Some that we have to work through on our own. ...the nic bitch continues to knock on the doors my friends. Stay strong, stay vigilant." - Fireheeler; 6/11/14 in AUG14

Never cured, but quitting like this

What cost is too high?

Joey, read the welcome center area and learn how to post roll. You will get the support you need when you promise us you will not use nicotine today. I promised the KTC and the world I wouldn't use today, come on and join me.
Just did it on my phone won't be home till afternoon but will make sure I got it right then
Joey, all you have to do is not use nicotine.... It is that simple bud. I dipped for 15 years and I am happily nicotine free as of 157 days ago. It is very possible, you just have to want it. Do you want it? Lets get it bro. Dont be a puss

You have to be 18 to use this site. But you can quit at any age. Your head is in the right place. Keep thinking that way and come back when you're 18. I am truly sorry to be turning you away. (But you can still drop by to the visitor's section!!!)
Hey I'm 18 though. 1/21/96 turned this year
