Welcome. Give your word of Honor when you post roll that you will not dip that day. Post roll everyday first thing. keep your word. One day at a time.

You can do it.

Hey Joe, welcome to the best choice you have ever made. Post your roll every day as your word that I WILL NOT DIP TODAY. It's easy enough. Then every second, every minute and every hour of the day live up to that promise.

Were glad to have you, PM me if you need anything.

Thanks for the welcome Bman..

As far as a plan to quit, I've been substituting dip with lots and lots of gum. I've been listening to some self-motivational audiotapes.. specifically Napoleon Hill's Law of Success and Gregg Braden's Divine Matrix... lots of inspiring stuff there should I feel like giving up.. Listening to both of those guys actually had a big impact on my decision to quit. Browsing the forums here and contributing when I can will be huge.

It's really amazing to know that all it comes down to is the question: To Dip or not to dip today? Or this afternoon. this hour. this second.. whatever. JUST SAY NO. I keep asking myself the question in my head, just to practice the answer.

Welcome Joe and Congrats on a great decision to quit! Read up, post often, and most important develop a plan to stay quit. If you need anything just ask.

Yo what's up guys..

I'm 25 years old and I've been smoking and dipping since 16. Being on the football team I was surrounded by a bunch of the older guys and coaches that dipped.

After high school, I got into a really good college and flunked out cause I was drinking, dipping and smoking pot/cigs all day instead of going to class and taking care of my shit. I was dipping about a can every 2 days during this time (about 4 years).

I was totally out of control without even knowing it.

Anyway, 10 days ago I went out with some friends-- dipping and smoking all night... woke up the next day feeling and looking like total shit.

Enough is enough. I want control of my life again.

It's been a rough stretch since then, but not as bad since I found this site.

I look forward to getting to know all of you.
