Give the wife a hug.

Take your rage out on us. We get it. Tell her this is it; the last withdrawal. You can count on me for help. Just ask. Glad you are here. You can do this. You want proof? Look here: index.php?showtopic=5437

No she just knows what kinda monster I turn into. I've got her appised of the situation ! There could be knashing of teeth, loud voices, and so on,BUT ? I am determined to QUIT ! I even have a Kill The Can camouflage wristband ! Wish me Luck !
Remember, NEVER take it out on her or family. Come in here...RAGE in here. this is your outlet. This is your release valve. And if you want to be pissed off at anybody, always start by remembering that there wasn't anyone elses fingers digging down in that can and then shoving it in your lip but you.

Get numbers for texting and calling a brother when you are feeling the need to rant and rave...
Blah...Blah...Blah...You keep TALKIN....I'll keep QUITTIN

Boy, you must have one hell of a life insurance policy with her named as primary beneficiary...

WTF??
Sack up, go look your wife in the eye and tell her you are not trying to quit anymore....

YOU ARE QUIT!!

Seriously- get words like hope, try, wish out of your vocabulary- Here we DO. There is no luck involved with a quit- It's you deciding that you are done- that you will not use nicotine for TODAY!

Boy, looking at the success of posting roll right the first time, I'd say engineers must be pretty smart fellers...

welcome...ask for help when you need it...get numbers, as Syndrome suggested. A very smart choice you have made dusteroo...name might be a bit....well...anyway, good choice to quit.

Great choice and great job, Dusteroo!!! I think it took me a day or two to learn how to post roll, you nailed on the first try.

It is the fight of your life...but it is totally worth it. Read all you can on this site.
