Actually a cell phone is my only means of communicating with this site. If you read the post I put about posting roll, note that it says first thing. I never said I would not post, just not always first thing. My mornings are alot of times your nights and vice versa.
Looks like you do pretty good posting in your intro with your phone...Dude you can post whenever you want, as long as you post DAILY. We're not telling you this to be assholes, we're telling you this because you have a better chance making that commitment to yourself (and us) right when u wake up. If you wait till the end of YOUR day you'll have some dangerous limbo time.. We're not saying post in the morning, we're saying post in YOUR morning. Everyone wakes up I think? and god knows there are guy's on here at all hours of the day. My wife works graveyard for years, people have different mornings.. no worries.. quit with you bro!! peace

Sorry to have not posted role yet. I have been up all night working. Unfortunately I work rotating shifts and can not always post first thing.
Lucas, as one of the site "pricks" I'm gonna remind you of something. When was the last time you got down to that last dip in a can and you either had to scrape up the change for a can or go out of your way to buy a new can? Did you ever get desperate worrying you would run out? I sure as hell did, and I would do anything to get that can. (I live 70 miles from the closest dip on weekends) I can't count the times I drove 140 miles to feed my addiction. Now the point, make finding time to post roll every bit as critical in your life as making sure you had that dip was before! I remember the old tv adds for camel cigs. "I'd walk a mile for a camel." We'll I also remember early in my quit someone posting rol while on a camping trip and they had to climb to the top of a mountain to get a cell signal to text a quit brother to post for him! No fucking excuses not to post roll!! Get numbers and text your quit if Internet access is a problem. If your sleeping, post first thing when you wake, just like taking a piss, take care of business! Now that I'm done being a prick, pm me if I can help you in any way, I'm really not that bad. "Shut up Loot, no one asked you"
OBVIOUSLY with Wt57 on this one since he helped save my life. and no wt57 isn't a prick he's a very caring man that has gone out of his way to help me and my quit.. When I needed a break WT57 posted for me for a friggin week. at the time it saved my quit. Thanks brother..
as for Lucas? This is a poor excuse.. ever heard of a cell phone? I've seen 5 year olds with them.. if you can't post, CALL, or TEXT one of your quit buddies in your group to post for you. 1+1=quit

WT is an amateur prick. Hes a wanna be prick. However, he knows this thing called quit. Youd do well to appreciate having him in your corner...and pay attention when he speaks...and grasp the outstretched hand when he offers it. He would quit for you if he could...

yeah you're sorry! A perfect stranger to you (Bigwhitebeast) gives you the advice that can keep you from looking like
could be you
Perfect strangers here at KTC saved my life. No doubt.

I feel sorry for you younger men trying to quit.
Seans' story
Young folks think they're invicible...I know I did. Both my grandaddys rubbed powdered snuff and 1 grandma dipped. I rationalized my behavior with their behavior.

It happens everyday somewhere in America. Nicotine is a powerful drug. I'm an addict of nicotine today and tomorrow. Which is why WE here at KTC Decide every a.m. to be QUIT by posting ROLL!
If you really don't want to be a pussy and a slave to nicotine, you have found the best place to help you BE QUIT. The price is your word, the benefits are endless!

Your choice, noone can do it for you!
Cheers.

Why you no post roll yet? do that here

My advice: Reread everything Bigwhitebeast said, for it is the gospel. Ignore the post by ryanlong2013, for he knows not what he's talking about. "Could not do it" = bullshit. If I can do it after almost 20 years, so can anybody else. Just gotta get your head in the game.

Happy to see you here, but you have to make up your mind whether you're commited to this quit. If you are, then you'll find the time. What could possibly be more important than saving your life? That was my attitude when I first came here. Every morning. Wake up, get priorities in order, post roll (give my quit group my word), then go on with getting ready for work or whatever. It has to be the primary thing. It has to be that important, at least for a while.

Seriously, get up 2 minutes earlier every day. That's all it takes to make that promise on roll call. Then, if you're a man of your word, nicotine is not an option for the rest of the day. Is losing 2 minutes of sleep, or pressing the snooze button one less time too high a price to pay for your heath?

There is no "try". There is "do", and there is "do not". Pick one.

Well here is the deal with KTC, we are basically a cold turkey program, we don't utilize nicotine replacement therapy such as nicorette gum.

We come in each day and promise to our brothers that we will remain quit for the rest of the day, the next day we come and do the same thing.

People come in here and bust balls, they go in the chat and talk about the issues they are having, they call fellow quit group members and ask for help. We remain quit one day at a time.

We have milestones, the biggest and the first is reaching 100 days quit without NRT, this is called the Hall of Fame, the time when you reach HOF is your quit group so if you quit today you would be in the April 2013 group.

When in your group you post roll call, this is your promise to quit today, tomorrow you come in and repeat. Remember, we are addicts, we are junkies to nicotine, it takes a strong will and assistance to stay quit.

Here is the welcome center
index.php?showforum=13

Here is how to post roll call
index.php?showtopic=50

And a little video on how to post roll call
http://www.killthecan.org/roll/

Here is the April quit group
index.php?showtopic=7622

Welcome to our group, if you buy into the program it can save your life.

Stay quit my friend.

Quitting for good. 23 years old and been dipping relligiously since I was 14. Not something I want to do for the rest of my life. Still trying to get use to the site and find time to get on. Thanks for the support guys I admire you all.
