Congrats on the quit Noog (Goon?)

Keep posting roll every day, it is the key to quitting. Drink lots of water and exercise often the first few days as it will help with the foggyness as well as keep the weight off (you're gonna eat a lot the first few weeks). Get to know your quit group, make sure you exchange numbers with other quitters, hop in live chat every once in a while, and read everything you can.

PM me if you need anything,

MCO

New Quitter - Intro

I found this site when I was thinking of quitting and used some of the information to prepare. Thank you to those that put this site together!!

I am 49 years old and have been dipping since I was 16 or 17 years old. I have never tried quitting but thought about it a few times. When Tony Gwynn, one of the greatest hitters in baseball and dipper, died a couple of months ago, it really shook me up because he was only a few years older than me. I decided to quit and made my quit date August 3rd, my wedding anniversary. I reduced my nicotine intake so much over the last three weeks I decided to go ahead and do it! July 28, 2014 is my official quit date.

I am nicotine free right now and feel like my brain has grown some fuzz, no headaches so far and my mind is throwing some cravings my way. I am using the Smokey Mountain alternative which helps with the oral fixation, but I am happy to 48+ hours in I am looking forward to being completely snuff free.
