Quote from: IdahoI am going into the belly of the beast this weekend.
An annual stealhead fishing trip with a great group of guys, we will eat and drink like kings, fish and sit around the campfire.
There are a number of chewers that will be there. I am confident in my quit and at 806 days there is no going back. Gum, seeds, toothpicks and food will be in my mouth at all times.
I am confident too because you are a bad ass quitter who gets it.
What he said ^^^^^! Enjoy yourself my friend!
Tobacco is so addictive it took me a year after a massive heart attack, in which doctor confirmed caused from dipping to finally put a lid on the bitch! ODAAT EDD

Some of my fondest and clearest memories are peeing in places that aren't bathrooms.

Quote from: IdahoThis last weekend my wife and I celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary, wine tasting and fancy dining. I broke our my black leather jacket which I don't wear very often.
Strolling down the main street, I reach my hand into the pocket and I feel a familiar, yet unfamiliar object... A can... If you saw my face it probably looked like I had seen a ghost.
It have been 792 days since I quit, that means this have has been in the pocket for over two years and we moved houses... WTF!!!
I was too embarrassed and didn't tell my wife, I just threw it away and then you guessed it, I had cave dreams that night.
I guess there is nothing to do but keep posting roll and forever be haunted by my past addiction.
The cruelty of addiction....we did it to ourselves and we are steadily easing back to a normal life. How great was it to know that was the first time you were dip free in that jacket! Thanks spuds for always being around
Nah. The haunting goes away. I guess it becomes obscured by our Victory. You my Brotha, are doing this right. Keep on keeping on. It gets better every day.
You found an old can, you threw it away, sound like a victory to me.
Congrats on 10 year Anniversary!
And 790+ days quit.
You have accomplished great things.
Your a new man now... controlling a NEW shadow!
No need to be haunted by that.
I Quit with you Spuds!

Let's see, you posted roll that morning, nic bitch tempted your almost 800 days of quit and you honored your word on roll post. Outstanding. Thanks for leading the way. Appreciate you sharing that. Keeps my quit strong and helps all KTC to know that these things are out there. Proud to quit with you.
Thanks for the support guys, yeah posting roll and still winning!
Almost at 800, that will be a good milestone, see everyone tomorrow.
Thanks for leading the way around here. Great win and great lesson for new quitters. This fight is never done!
Spuds keep kicking ass.
There are no circumstances in which using nicotine will improve the outcome.

My journey. The best part it is not over yet.
