so my last dip was at 5:07 pm yesterday, ate dinner watched a movie with the GF. slept like a champ and woke up this morning feeling good. ate breakfast and then it hit me, that urge to tap the tin and take a pinch at 6am...

I ate nearly a 1/2lb bag of goose jerky, chewing it up packing in my lip like a dip to no avail.

i bitched out and bummed one from one of my shop guys!!!!! damn it!

I have a few cans of the smokey mountain pouches but they just taste like bad wintergreen candy?

Is there any other herbal chews that are closer in taste and might help me out with the habit of driving and having a bottle in my hand? That seems to be the worst time for me as I have a long commute to / from work.

seems like yesterday it was just a pinch here and there during softball or on the weekends...

I broke down and told my mom my battle and she was supportive of the fact that i knew i had an addiction that could ruin my health in more ways than one.

Hey Bro, great decision, you can do this. Just as many of us are destroying our addiction, we are standing the battle ground right beside you.

hey all. I realize now that I am makin a smart decision to quit the addiction while only being on the tin for about 3 years. After reading that some people started pre-teenage years is bewildering but gives me a great since of hope that i can quite the tin!

good call marsh, your not going to get any less addicted. If you don't quit, the end game is you wind up like me. I quit because I could no longer kill the withdrawls from nicotine, no matter how much I used. Im lucky that shit didn't kill me outright. If I coulda quit after three years I'd be in alot better shape.

Have you started posting roll yet?
