Hi all and thanks for providing a great support site,
On and off (mostly on) for 30 years and went cold turkey last Thursday. I'm "full-in" to this support site to help keep my shit together....I really, really don't want to go back to the constant thought of having to drop a pinch. As my head is SLOWLY clearing up, it more looks like the can was controlling me (and not the other way around as it felt).
Eureka moment, maybe? dunno, but I have a long way to go.

Great decision to quit!
Post roll over in the May 2015 pre HOF, read everything on this site, it is quit therapy.
After 30 year (me for 16years) your mind and body doesn't know how to function without nicotine/chew.
It is hard rewiring yourself but you can do it. Invest in your quit each day, build a network of support!

I-Spuds is right...you have made a great decision. Congrats. As far as your not wanting to go back, the good news is you don't have to. This is YOUR decision. Can you do it? HELL YES. Check out the Quit Groups...not just your own group, but a few other months and years. Then think, every last one of those names is someone who has been right where you are now...and they are kicking the Nic Bitch's ass ONE DAY AT A TIME.
YOU CAN DO THIS. YOU'RE IN CONTROL NOW. Sure, you're swerving all over the road...but that what we're here for. Use us. Use the site to learn about addiction, learn how you too can control it one day at a time, reach out for help.
Post roll, read and repeat. That is all there is to it. Don't get ahead of yourself. Just get through today. We'll deal with tomorrow when it gets here. Focus on today. YOU GOT THIS!
