So day 7 nearly in the books. I really feel like I've been thru the ringer this week and that's just from the quit. I have to say I've been blessed with nearly no other challenges this week. I know I must seem like a basket case to everyone around me and if it weren't for KTC support and accountability it would have been easy to cave. Symptom wise I seem OK, started to get restful sleep since Friday. Mainly its just the strange head aches. I figure I'm probably getting off easy so I'll count my blessings and stay quit.

BTW, Big thanks to Srohde for having a virtual beer with me Friday night, hUcd with U Bro!
Yo yo Trigerhapy,
What you shooting at today?
How you doing brother?
Headaches any better? Getting any sleep. Looks like from afar you got your quit on! I quit with you today.
Love me some quit with Rawls!
With whitetail season over this weekend  the paintball field closed. I aint shooting at much, LOL
Blessed to have had a great hunting season and filled the freezer for the year. (We had a rough one last year.)

Funny you should ask about my quit symptoms. I hit the 2 week hump at day 12 and felt like I was back at day 4 and going backwards in time. I was commiserating with my bro Kasherms. The 2 weeker hit us both at about the same time. Without you people  this place it might have been easy to cave. I guess that's the beauty of how we do it here. When we may be weak, everyone else is strong, their strength  support carries us, we stay quit.
Quit with y'all EDD!

At first the idea seemed weird but then it made sense to me about feeling the burn. I took a look around today and I've come to find out that Tabasco mulch and cayenne pepper are common ingredients in non nicotine snuff. Go figure.

Not sure where to post this but wanted to share something I discovered last night.
Day 4 and feeling better each day. I've been quitting hard core. No substitutions or anything, about the only thing I've been allowing myself is trident gum if I'm REALLY jonesing. My main trigger is after meal time. Especially after the evening meal, that was my "highlight of the day dip" I guess you could say. So last night after dinner I'm milling around the kitchen fighting my main crave and I happened upon a bottle of Tabasco. I was suddenly compelled to put a droplet on my finger and then spread it around inside my lip where I used to dip. I suddenly got the spicy warm burn/tingle like I used to feel with dip and my brain went AAAHHHHHHhhhhhh. For about 2 minutes I found relief I was craving after dinner. It really helped and I might even do it again tonight after dinner!
Whatever it takes Triger! This is the place to write anything you want. Its your intro. Write in here a lot. Down the road you are going to want to read it all from the beginning to revisit how far you came! Quit on Bro!
Nice job! Don't sweat using any non nicotine substitution. Do what you need to do to get thru the day. Keep at it. You can do this today.
