Actually it was probably the Monday after that.

Oh how I remember that logic. Than all of sudden its Monday, and I have a full tin. "Oh well, maybe next Monday then, after that fishing trip, etc, etc, on and on and on.

Matt,

Read this (http://www.killthecan.org/facts/contract.asp), throw all your stuff out, post roll and dive in. We are here to help you, but you have to show everyone you are serious.  Don't be the pussy who says "tomorrow".  What's so special about Monday anyway?  Someone posted a great quote on this subject in response to my plan to quit  on "X" date.  " the great thing about quitting tomorrow is that I can dip today"

I was exactly like you (search for my intro post) and fortunately listened to the experienced quitters here on the board and now I have 54 days quit to thank them for.

We all quit with you today.  Post roll and make your commitment.
Monday will be my 95th day quit, you can make it your day 2. You can do this today, who knows what tomorrow will bring.
Did this guy sign into June13 or not?
Nope. Maybe he meant next Monday. Puss.

Monday I'm going on a diet, gonna clean the garage, go to the gym, stop eating out for lunch, start reading more, start going to bed earlier, etc...MONDAY, yep...that's the day to start all good new habits and drop the bad ones. No use staring any of that stuff TODAY. Monday will work.

You know how many times I bet on Monday and crapped out...too many to count. Flush your shit NOW. Addiction doesn't know what day it is, nor does cancer.

Grab your balls and quit NOW.

As addicts, we found a way to stuff that shit in our face at any cost. If you're truly done you'll dump the poison down the shittah 'flush', post your promise here in June and keep the shit out of your pie hole for the day. Do it now Matt, it could save your life.
Listen to CWOC....he's telling you true...

You said you failed every other time...do you know why?

Because you were not comitted to the quit.

Guess what?

You still aren't.

You've failed yet again...this time before even starting.

You want to quit? The QUIT. If you want to quit tomorrow, then you don't want to quit.

Waiting until tomorrow is nothing but a stall tactic used by the addict to contiue using.

So.....what's it gonna be?
Coach is right that is what made the difference in my decision. I found KTC 2 weeks before my 'quit date'. I got it, I dumped my shit early, drank deep of the quit and it is still working 330 days later! So my advise, dump your poison and join us in the ride through hell!
At this point what is one more day?

One more day could be the day that those precancerous cells change to something much worse

One more day could be the day that your wife and family decide to stop supporting you because you'll never change

One more day could be all you wish for as you slowly slip away

One more day could be the day you could have walked your daughter down the aisle

One more day means a helluva lot more than you can process right now in your addicted mind.

Take our words for it and make the change right now
