Welcome JS. Head over here and post roll: topic/11248831/94/#new

Roll is your promise that you will not use nicotine in any form today. Post roll first thing every morning, keep that promise, and you will be amazed at the support that is right here for you to take. Again welcome, and congratulations on the best decision you've ever made.

^^^^ right there, post roll and don't quit alone. I do agree quitting is the best decision we have ever made!

"Not thinking about nicotine is for people who've never used nicotine. We threw that option away with the first dip or drag on a cigarette. We are addicts, and cannot become un-addicted." - wildirish317

One week in
« on: August 05, 2015, 12:18:00 PM »
I'm one week in to my quit, and I don't mind admitting it has been the longest week of my life. But it's the best decision I've ever made. I read about the "side effects" of quitting but didn't fully grasp the intensity of it all. But it's the best decision I've ever made. I have a constant headache, my mouth and teeth hurt and I'm super grumpy. But it's the best decision I've ever made. I'm so tired that all I want to do is sleep but when I go to bed I can't sleep. But it's the best decision I've ever made. Food tastes different, everything is sweeter and more sour and more spicy. It's like learning what foods I like all over again. But it's the best decision I've ever made. In the moment, it's difficult to fathom why I am doing this to myself. But one look at my kids and I realize, it's the best decision I've ever made.
