ONE WEEK DOWN! Gotta say other than a few rough patches with some cravings, mostly while being stressed out, I am feeling great! I feel like I have more energy than usual. I know its only been one week and there is still a long road ahead but gonna keep rollin one step at a time not letting the NB come back into my life.
Nicely done. Keep piling up the wins, you'll be amazed what it looks like in no time at all. Congrats, but stay vigilant. You're still vulnerable to the NB, but you've got the tools to throat-punch her if she tries to talk to you. Proud to quit with you today.

Enjoy the good days....The shitty ones sneak up on you. When they do, remember that the days get better after a true battle won.

Today I choose to quit because today is the only day I have control over today. Tomorrow is a new day and when tomorrow is today, I'll control it too, but not until then. I will win this fight with today...

Day4-- OUT OF THE FOG!!! It sucked but I am thankful that it was not as bad as it could have been. Loving the feeling of no nicotine even though it may suck at times especially knowing that people aren't seeing me with a can of dip in my pocket and looking at me like "ewww he dips". Last night I had some bad cravings, the other two days I was very active with work, but having off yesterday I had nothing to do. I think my remedy is the gym actually, went and busted out some sets of squats in the weight room at our apartments and never once thought about nicotine after that. I keep telling myself, I am doing this for me no one else, because I know if I do it for me then others will reap the benefits of a non nicotine addicted me! I CAN DO THIS!!!!

Day 3- the morning nic craving was not near as bad, still making the main focus just go to they gym. I think that is helping alot with the nic cravings, also today is the first day that I dont have anything to do other than go to the gym so this should be interesting, but I am not gonna touch the shit today.

Staying active is key man! It keeps your mind of the craves and it helps you sleep. Make sure you're keeping the water flowing. Day 3... that nasty poison is outa your system in 3 days bro. Huge win for you today! Keep that in mind. Every +1 is a victory. Rock on...

Day 2 I gotta say started off a little rough. The effect of my little morning ritual of breakfast and then a dip kicked in and I wanted one real bad but thanks to a can of Smokey Mountain I got past that crap. Spent several hours in the gym the past few days for who knows why, but I like it, its nice to only be focusing on pre-workout and protein consumption instead of nicotine.
Nice job of beating back the craves. Stay focused, drink plenty of liquids, carry on with the work outs and continue to prove me wrong about you. Wayne

Bravo!!! 'clap'

I think your last post is...brilliant. Nice declaration of independence! I'm ready and excited to kick some nicotine ass with you. Follow the plan every day
and nicotine loses.

Going to be a war but you can win this and be free from her. You have allies to support you and the plan is fail proof if you follow it with exactness.

What do you need right now? How are you and withdrawals. We've been there and got through it. We get it and can help you stay focused if you write and express you thoughts and feelings. Yeah kind of ghey sounding but it works.

Welcome friend. I quit with you. My word and my promise is more important than humping a can.

way to go Justin...i do gotta say i am surprised that you came back, but glad to see you post up. sounds like you have finally found the 'want' necessary to get your quit going...dig deep, you're gonna need the 'want' necessary to KEEP your quit going too.

Hopefully you've done some reading on here....shiite ton of info. Spend as much time as you can reading and learning about this lil addiction. She can be tricky. The more you know...the more you can be prepared. You'll find drinking water, water, water, and exercising excessively will both help. Keep yourself as distracted as you can with the reading, the drinking water, and whatever exercising you enjoy....

Ill quit with you today...buckle up, focus on doing whatever you need to these coming days to remain QUIT.

sent ya my digits if you need more for your toolkit.

Justin,

Congrats on your day 1 posting roll! Just remember that is your promise to yourself and to everyone here that you will in no way, shape, or form use nicotine! It's our way to know that you have made that commitment to us, and when we post roll we have made the commitment to you! Now all you have to do is worry about keeping your promise today! Then get up tomorrow and make the same promise! There you have KTC in a nutshell!

FYI I dropped my phone number in a PM. Reach out if you need anything along the way! Also re-read MThomas's post below! He is one bad ass quitter! I text with him and some other guys damn near daily. He has a great perspective on the topic and is a pretty funny ass bastard!

I'm quit with you today!
