Quote from: Jim
I'm on day 7 and I think I finally got 2 hours of straight sleep last night. Stomach hurts, my arms feel itchy and when I lay down at night it feels like my body is buzzing. Doesn't matter. I can't believe how different I feel and look in just 7 days. Color is coming back to my skin, these weird white spots on my skin are going away and my gums feel better.
Pretty crazy, the effects that the nic bitch can have, huh? Your body is healing and recovering from years of stuffing your face. These physical manifestations of overcoming the whore will pass. The mental ones will soon set in. Embrace this place and those that seek to help you. Heed their words. Remember how you feel right now and NEVER go through it again. You don't do that shit anymore.

Quit on.

PM if you need digits to be talked off the ledge one of these days.

Hey Johnny, I used to call it my friend as well. i think I first heard someone refer to dipping as a friend when I saw Fran Tarkington on one of those Tony Robbins infomercials. It's a cliche' to call it a friend but it makes sense that we'd think that.

I like what someone else said. It's more like a whore. It gets you away from your family and friends so that you can go do something that is shameful and makes you feel good for about 15 minutes and then like shit afterward. You have to keep your whore private because you'd never want anyone to know. It's basically a vice, just like any other drug, that robs you of your life and affects other people.

Welcome and I hope to see you posting roll every day along with me.

Trauma  Menace are right...friend?!!! Nope, some a-holes working in a lab somewhere were designing the perfect combination of chemicals and branding to get all of your money and leave you deformed, at best, or dead. You should HATE Skoal for that. I do.

But I know your're in the fog right now. CONGRATS!!! That is the feeling of healing! Embrace it. This is your recovery. And you can do it. All you have to do is post roll and stay quit for today. We'll deal with the future when it gets here. You've taken the first step, let us help you with the rest.

You got this brother!

Welcome to KTC.....First thing for you to realize is that SKOAL has never been your f%king friend. She has be a whore using you for your money and health and time. I thought the same way at one point and time as well, and all of us here did to some degree, but the sooner you learn to hate your enemy the better equipped to fight and win each day you will be. Next remember, you (we) are addicts here at KTC and as such we can never, not even once or just a little bit use nicotine ever again once quit. If you do, you will be back to square one before you know it. Third, Post roll each and every day here on KTC to promise yourself and us that you will not use nicotine for 24 hours. You do this each day and you will win. You do this and honor your word, you win. Its really that simple! We are here to walk with you and others have blazed the trail to freedom. All you need to do it follow it. Welcome

Jonny G reporting for quit duty! Thanks to my buddy for turning me on to KTC. Been enjoying the Landscaper's Breakfast for too long and making the turn, so I can turn my head off and stop worrying about losing life to this weak as dirt. Work from home or spend time on the road...it gets lonely and SK*** has been my only friend at times. Glad to be a part of the team and knowing I have team mates around me. I'm a competitor and plan on winning this battle. Walk on. Walk on. You'll never walk alone. You'll never walk alone.

Cheers
This challenge that you want to compete in is not a sprint its a battle for today only....tomorrow wake up and repeat...Whoever you have as the friend that turned you on to this site keep them close cause its gonna suck. When that suck comes its up to you to pull that trigger and ask for help then you will have 18k addicts coming to your aid.
Remember for today only learn to change your mindset as to what tobacco really is and friend aint what it is. In the beginning just getting through the day is all you need to worry about got it.
PM me if you need a number

Complacency sucks, one moment of it is the difference between being a user and a quitter....OIB
