congratulations on taking your life back! if you follow the program here, you'll be successful. It took me years of failing, and now I'm doing it since I came here.
my best tips: (1) Document the sucky withdrawals and other stuff you go through here in your intro- it helps others see what sort of help you might need, and it's great to go back to later-- for you and other newer quitters (2) read all you can to learn what you're fighting-- read the article in my signature line. Read other quitters intros, read the welcome center here at KTC. The nicbitch tries all sorts of sneaky tricks, and the more you know the better (3) make friends here- create a support/accountability network. This is huge, to this day, for me-- and I never had it before here.
Keep stong- the pain early on is a good reminder of how bad this addiction really is-- you'll never have to go through it again once you quit for good! it gets so much better over time you won't believe it!
