NOW sounds pretty €¥#> good!!

Alright,let's roll.
My names Jason 38 years old, been dipping or smoking, sometimes both at the same time over the last 28 years. When's my quit date?? Right now, I actually had one in when I found this forum but got sick of getting up to spit in my sink (pretty damn nasty, I agree). I just threw all my bottles away, the can in my pocket and the three in my truck. Started to already give up and dig in the trash......what's it been 5 minutes??? That's not who I am, so I dug them out and dumped them in the toilet. I refuse to give in.

How'd I end up here??? Started real young while playing baseball, hiding it from my mom, cause the pros were doing it it must help. NOT...(ref. Tony Gwynn, RIP). Got worse while in the Marines, took the edge off and it's just gotten worse. Now I coach baseball and football and want to break the cycle for these kids, never done it on the field but I live in a real small town, they've seen me they're not stupid.

I DONT WANT TO QUIT, IM GOING TO QUIT!!! I have a beautiful wife of 14 years, a 7 year old son that looks up to me and a 4 year old set of twins that all need me to be around. I used to hide it from all of em and I guess I could keep doing that but why??? Is it really worth it to lie to them?? I know this is going to be hard, worse than when I quit smoking cause I can dip everywhere. But with a community that knows the struggle I believe I can do this and help others at the same time. Helping others fight will only make me fight harder, I figure if I end up at a store to give in I'm buying some of the nastiest cheapest tea leaves I can find and shove em in, that should curb it for a bit!!

Hopefully post one of many, successes and struggles, bring em on......oh and one more thing. Hey long cut wintergreen...... 'Finger'
