My 1st Day w/out Chew

Today is my older Sister, Lauren's birthday.Ã,  She passed away on September 16, 2012 from Cervical Cancer.Ã,  It has only been 6 months.Ã,  She would have been thirty years old.Ã,  I turned 26 on Saturday.Ã,  You can see how this is tearing me up?Ã,  She was just too damn young to go, and she died from a disease that was ultimately started by the nic bitch, in stick form.Ã,  Dammit all, in light of that, all I can think about is throwin that lipper in to help calm the emotions that are stirring today.Ã,  At day 35, I am able to control the crave, but it has been the hardest day since Day 2-3.Ã,  I'll hold strong, but today is just....tough.

Hang in there brother. Do something else instead. What did she like to do? Find a way to honor her memory without associating it with tobacco or nicotine. Tomorrow when you are still a quitter you will be happy that you did.

Tough stuff for sure. Condolences to your family. I can see where today will be very tough, I can hardly imagine.

Just know that putting a lipper in will make it no easier, in fact I bet it would make it worse. Reflect on the good times and memories you had with your sister. You don't need a lipper to do that.

I can relate to your feelings that a dip will somehow makes things all better.......BUT I promise you that you will feel way worse after any initial or "good" feelings you might experience, if any, for a couple of moments if you listen to the nic bitch!!! May she rest in peace and I hope you will dedicate your quit to your sister. You CAN and will work through this!!!
