Hey Bill,

I'm Jason, "JDM", started dipping about the same time as you, in college, hanging with the boys - not a care in the world. Now here I am, 26 years later finally quitting this poison. Let that sink in. 26 fuckin years. I believe from things I have read that nicotine is as addictive as heroin. I wish I never started this shit. I see you coming on here and I wonder how much better my life would have been if I did what you're doing right now. This is your chance to kill this addiction - it is not a "habit" - right now. You have to do this!

There are a ton of guys here to help you and I can be one of them. But you have to be ready to be accountable and to do battle every day.You have to be 200% committed.

Go here and start reading everything you can and learn how to use this site. KTC Welcome Center

The way it works is you join your quit group, which would be June 2016, and start posting your promise to quit every damn day, no excuses, no exceptions. June 2016 Quit Group Go to this group now and start posting and they will pick you up and help make sure you get on the roll and start interacting etc...

I'm going to PM you and give you my digits so you can reach out to me if you need help getting set and any advice.

This is serious shit, it's an addictive poison that can take your life if you don't quit.

Now is the time to quit, you can do this!

Bill, proud to have you on board and great job on your first post. Get to know the guys and gals here, get involved and you will have more support than you ever imagined. I wish I had your wisdom at 21, but kept waiting for tomorrow, or after the holiday, or after a vacation, or after hunting season, or after ......... 28 years later, I got my freedom back.

You got this. I quit with you my friend.

Hey there I'm Bill, I'm 21 and I've been dipping regularly (0.5 tin - 1 tin / day) for a little under 2 years. I first started dipping during summer vacation in college because there was nothing better to do except dip and chill with my other buddies from home who dipped as well.

There isn't much else to say really. I would always deny that I was hooked and told myself that I could quit whenever I wanted. But that wasn't really true..the reason I didn't want to quit in the first place was because I was hooked.

I'm just thankful that I didn't get into the habit in high school or eariler because I remember denying multiple people who offered me a lip in those days. I guess I had more sense in high school than I give myself credit.

Anyways, glad to be here. Let's do this
