Sean, for now, you just worry about you and not about what you can give back. I'm not looking for anything in return for quitting with you except for 1 thing. Your word. Continue to post roll every day and give me your word that you will not use nicotine in any form, then I'll quit with you any day of the week. As this becomes your new habit (i.e. posting roll and staying quit), feel free to post and share your experiences during your quit. Each person's quit is different and we can all learn something from anybody. Keep posting roll and make your quit your top priority. PM me should you need anything.
One day at a time. stick to you promise. You have this...

Welcome Sean- and good choice to stop poisoning yourself! I think you are right that the fellowship will make the difference. Make the most of the site and you make it to freedom! Read all you can here to educate yourself about how bad this stuff really is. Then quit on!
This info helped me early on, and still does today: https://whyquit.com/whyquit/linksaaddiction.html

Quitters I’ve met so far: Ihatecope, >Pinched<, T-Cell, grizzlyhasclaws, Canvasback, BaseballPlayer, Cbird65, ERDVM, BradleyGuy, Ted, Zeno, AppleJack, Bronc, Knockout, MookieBlaylock, Rdad, 2mch2lv4, MN_Ben, Natro, Lippizaner, Amquash, ChristopherJ, GDubya, SRohde  -- always eager to meet more!

Hey guys and gals, my name is Sean and I have been dipping since I was 15 and now I am 38 and like my handle says I am Fed Up! I quit when I was 27 and stayed quit til I was 31. (relapsed at a poker game) I thought like most people that I would just be able to have 1 and be done.. Here I am writing to u 7 years later.. I thought getting sober at 25 was the hardest thing I ever had to do. Looking back that was a piece of cake compared to quitting nicotine.. The one thing that I have been unwilling to do, is to reach out and ask for help.. So here it is, I need help! I need a fellowship around me like I did and still have when it comes to alcohol.. I look forward to chatting and taking suggestions from u guys so ultimately I can give back like u guys and gals do here.
Sean - Welcome to KTC. I see you already posted roll today, so you have taken the first steps. Get involved with the site, read all you can and quit every day at roll call. Welcome to the fog. Lean heavy here and you will get through it. Caving is not an option. PM me if you need anything.
