Maybe that should be the question of the day tomorrow ask everyone if they have atleast one number from a person in their group...I find it difficult to see how he slipped through.... August is on it for accountability....
Complacency sucks, one moment of it is the difference between being a user and a quitter....OIB

OK Bad move and uncool. At a loss for words but thanks you should really ignore jackass posts like the one I did in the August thread. My plan is to make right just not sure what that means.

So,  what's your favorite poison Matt.  Don't answer that  because i could care less.  The important thing is your back with your one true love.  I hope your happy with her.

If your married don't think for a second she is.  You would give up time with her or ANYONE your close to for your one true love.  You wish us good luck, but you need the luck.  The one you have chosen will suck you dry.  Later slave.
Maybe there is one thing to come out of this that would be helpful to those of us who are COMMITTED to be quit. Are there other members in the August group who have not shared their cell number with at least one other member?

Matt, I'm asking you - look deep and answer the three questions. This is literally your life you are dealing with - flush the shit and move forward.

-----------
Definition of committed:
"bound or obligated, as under a pledge to a particular cause, action, or attitude;"

The poison sucks. I hate it. I hated it this morning, I hated it at noon, I hated it at supper and I hate it tonight. I enjoy hating it so much I'm going to wake up tomorrow and start over hating it. I quit with anyone that wants to hate it with me.

My thoughts while I try to understand this is that it makes sense. No one knows much about him and we can't find anyone he shared his # with.... He never bought into the program here! Didn't use the tools we offer to stop a cave! I def didn't get a call from him. He didn't want to be accountable to anyone or be talked out of a cave. This was a planned cave from the start! He didn't give us his number but I know we gave HIM OURS! He wanted to sneak out on his cave! Hope the dog shit taste bad!

1. What happened?

2. Why did it happen?

3. What's going to be different this time?

I dont know why this one has me so pissed off. Dont give a cock stroke and run off... Get your ass back in here answer the questions and get your quit started again. I hope your group has your digits and are blowing up your fone. Dying slowly is better than coming back and answering the questions and get your quit going.

A cave affects us all and there sure seems to be a shit load of it these days.
Traumagnet, We are trying to blow up his phone. Lots of us tried to get his number but it sounds like he avoided giving it to everyone so far. We are texting around to find a number. And then WE/I will blow it up!

I am gone but will not forget

Thanks to all for your help and comraderie. You are all going to do well and keep up the fight. This is a bad ass group and I regret not continuing to be a part of it but due to my relapse I'm making my dishonorable exit now. I am ensured an eventual quit due to the immediate physical badness that the nicotine causes me each and every time I use it. I can feel the life being sucked out of me and I am replacing that with some serious rehab. One thing I see in each and every one of you is caring and brotherhood so I cannot dismiss myself without this sorry ass note. It's all good except for the dishonor that I feel in my soul. Still life is good and we all have to find our way. God bless!

I am calling bullshit on this one you dont just drop a note in your quit group and hide out...No you get your ass back on the fucking horse after you dust off your vagina.... Where are you AUGUST go after this cat

Thanks for the help guys you don't know how you and this site help my success.  Keep it up and I'll be there for some other newbies I'm 100% with the program you guys have going here.  My tip for newbs: wait and the urges, moods, and general evil humors will pass in a few minutes.  Stay busy.  I've got a busy job and it wasn't until just now that I could even log back in.

Matt,

We know exactly how much other members and the site help Bro... we are all the same her and have all been where you at and what your going through... thats the greatest thing...everyone relates.

Affirmations accepted. After I thought about it I need to apologize to the guys on the site for my comment about not using or relapsing. It's because of you and the grace of God that I have quit not some huge will power or intelligence on my part. AFter all the N had me strongly in its hold for 8 months and all the other times I tried to bargain with the devil for just a little more energy and a little better mood in exchange for maybe having a hard time when it was time to quit. This go around cost me a lot more than $2.50 a tin every other day or so both financially, emotionally and spiritually. I got off easy for that comment but all you guys the hard asses and the easy guys have my respect and believe me I want to say thanks and another thing I'll quit is taking this brotherhood for granted.

Hey Scowick65 your HOF speech is cool.  i feel like I've quit and have little or no desire to go back to nicotine.  Sorry but I'm staying on the site because I'm learning a hell of a lot and having fun here.  Now I'm sure that sounds weird but...
Not weird at all. This damn site is fun. I bet you never thought quitting had any "fun" related to it (neither did I.) I come back every night, even if it's for five minutes, for the fun. When I wake up the next morning, I realize how much fun it was. Namely, it helped me stay quit.

Now THAT'S fun!!
I'm off work on Thursdays, and I bet I spent 6 hrs today reading on this site. Not straight but broken into segments... It's good for every one, but great for new guys. We need to dive in and soak up all the wisdom we can!
