I am a college student at Gonzaga University in Spokane WA. I am 20 years old and have been chewing for 3 years and decided that it is time to quit. I have tried to quit a couple of times in the past but have always gone back to the can. This time I have decided that I am going to beat this shit no matter how much it is going to suck for the next 100 days. I want to live a healthy tobacco free lifestyle and it starts today.
Best thing you could ever do for yourself. Now a few thoughts. You can't put a timeline out there and say things like the next 100 days... This is a one day at a time shot at life without dip for you. Get into the September '14 group and do this thing!! Don't wait another day!!!
Nice. You have grabbed the bitch by the horns and said no more. I love it. Now do the same thing, and keep the same attitude, every single day. Focus on winning one day at a time, this is the key. Do not give the nic bitch one bit of breathing room. Congrats on a great decision. Many of us here wish we had been smart like you when we were 20.

ZagStudent,

Welcome to KTC. Fair warning up front. This is not a place for people who THINK they want to quit....for proof, go read the intro "starting after the 24th". The community on this site is dedicated to one thing...getting and keeping folks nicotine free, one day at a time. They aren't too concerned with political correctness or hurting people's feelings in the process.

So, if you're done, and you have got rid of every nicotine containing product in your house, car, work, wherever.....welcome to the SUCK. Smart vets have posted many times...."it'll suck until it doesn't"....I don't know when the "doesn't" part will get here, as I'm only just starting day 4 of my quit...but I can tell you you won't be alone in this...you will have more support than you EVER thought possible.

Go, NOW, and post your day one Roll Post in the September Pre-HOF quit room and don't look back.
