One day at a time. One crave at a time.
Congrats on a GREAT decision. I wish I had been smart enough to kick that shit to the curb at 21. You CAN do this a day at a time!!! Get involved with January 2010 and POST, POST, POST!!! Get into chat also whenever you feel weak.

my name is blake and i decided to quit for a while but just started today. I have used dip mostly skoal and grizzly for 2 years now. What are my chances of having oral cancer im scared to death to go to the dentist in march. i am only 19.
Well Blake you came to the right place. Put your snuff down. Start posting in March 2008. Go get checked out. Don't wait 35 years to quit. There's all the help you'll ever need here. I only have 181 days but there are a lot of folks here with more time than that. Welcome! Here's how to post roll.

Step 1 - Find the last Roll Call
Step 2 - Hit the "Quote" button in the upper right hand corner.
Step 3 - Click your mouse ANYWHERE in The bottom Box
Step 4 - Hit Ctrl and "A" at the Same time so it looks like THIS or right click mouse and select all.
Step 5 - Hit Ctrl and "X" at the same time so there is NOTHING in Either Box
or right click mouse and cut
Step 6 - Click your mouse in the TOP BOX
Step 7 - Hit Ctrl and "V" at the same time to Paste the info into the top box AND ADD YOUR info to the bottom of the list. or right click mouse and paste.
Step 8 - Hit ADD REPLY below the bottom box
Step 9 - Go back to the top and click on (1st unread post), pat yourself on the back, and have a beer cause you will not be dipping today.

For a graphical representation of these instructions, please visit http://www.killthecan.org/roll/
Good luck I'll be lookin for ya!

hi blake, its great to see you here quitting. i am an ex smoker on the site but i am sure an ex dipper will be glad to answer some question. there is alot of material to read on the site that may answer some of your questions. The chance of oral cancer if you dipped is always there, but not going to see the dentist will not help you situation. Quitting and taking care of yourself is your best bet. If you need anything yell, someone is always here. jarsmom
