Lightly, you got some heavy duty quitters giving support, so here is my support from a day 46 quitter - do it for you. Suffer the suck of the next month, and be a free man for the next round of soccer and dance recitals. I am nic free for the first time in 17 years, and I go to my 8 y/o's baseball games now knowing I don't have to find a place to pack a dip and spit all game long. The suck is temporary, the freedom is forever as long as you quit Every Damn Day. I quit with you today.
Some of my fondest and clearest memories are peeing in places that aren't bathrooms.

well, guess I'm the comparative lightweight in the room, so just listen to what they said above. Keep posting roll with us in Aug14, read that PM I sent you, send me your #, and drink all the koolaide on this site.

You've got every tool you need for success - Will you use them to stay quit?

Stay quit.
I was a ninja dipper, but I will have a berserker quit - Here's some encouragement

NEVER Ring the Bell! Watch this. It will change your life.

When a crave hits watch this.

"Everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about. Be Kind Always."

?Gentlemen, we are going to relentlessly chase perfection, knowing full well we will not catch it, because nothing is perfect. But we are going to relentlessly chase it, because in the process we will catch excellence. I am not remotely interested in just being good. ? ~ Vince Lombardi

"We all have our own demons that we face on a day to day basis. Some we can talk to others about. Some that we have to work through on our own. ...the nic bitch continues to knock on the doors my friends. Stay strong, stay vigilant." - Fireheeler; 6/11/14 in AUG14

Never cured, but quitting like this

What cost is too high?

I'm quitting today. It's funny, been scrolling through posts/topics on this site today and it's incredible how someone who is totally addicted to dip can relate to everything you read. I have been dipping since I was 16 and now going on 22 years dipping. It's crazy when you pass the amount of time in your life where you dipped vs. when you didn't dip! I remember I had friends in high school who threw up when they 1st tried dip. I didn't and 22 years later you can only wish you had gotten sick the 1st time you tried it. I have a 4 year old and a 1 year old and I want to be alive for their soccer games and dance recitals. I have a sore in my mouth that I hope is not oral cancer or if it is that it's very early signs of it. I have a dentist appointment on Tuesday morning that I have cancelled twice trying to get rid of the sore myself and justify that I don't need to quit. Man, you do some sick stupid shit trying to justify to yourself that you need don't need to quit dipping.

Trying to figure out this site, but I guess my next step is joining a group. 100 days from today is at end of August, so I guess that's the group I'm supposed to go to.

Greg
Dude, dont quit for your kids, dont quit for a sore, you need to be ready to quit for you. What is going to happen when you go to the dentist and they give you a clean bill of health? Are you going to stop at the 7-11 on the way home and pick up another can of grounded weed and cancer blend to stuff in your mouth again? Do you see where im going with this? You need to quit because you know you want. Do not come in here acting like a pussy. Just quit bro, you can do it, i dipped for 15 years and I am proud to say that Im wrapping ip day 168 as we speak. You got this man. Lets quit together !
$10 says you are fine. Another $10 says "get a can" is the first thought in your head when you hear the news. You will then think "roll call" and you'll do it twice.on Tuesday.
I'm bank rolling loot.
Saw that you posted roll today. Good job. Let the sore scare the shit out of you but then get mad. The nic whore is trying to kill you. If she doesn't succeed this time it will only be a matter of time....unless you quit.
Post roll every day, especially before you go to the dentist. Put your thoughts down in this thread and get to know as much about your enemy (nic) and your comrads (us). You will succeed if you use this site but like my man WG said...you gotta do this for you.
PM me if you need help.

WOW, DocChewfree just laid down the truth. WinterGreen and LOOT too? Damn bro, you just bankrolled some badass quitters on your intro. There is no playing around here and they all speak the truth. How many of us haven't gone to the dentist with a sore in our mouths scared it was cancer? and as soon as the doc said you are fine, we are back throwing in a cancer fatty. We have all done it dude. all of us. Scared is no way to keep a quit going, pissed off that leads to determination is. KTC is the way to quit. I'm not here to recruit you to our mad house but I will say that when you are ready, we will be here to assist. You make the call, Want to Quit no matter the outcome of the dentist???? Or if all is well do you want to go back to sleeping with bitch while she steals your money and your life? Your call.
