Support starts when you post roll. I am 45 as well, and want to support you, but you gotta post roll and promise yourself, and us that you are nicotine free today. That's how it works man.
Some of my fondest and clearest memories are peeing in places that aren't bathrooms.

Thank you for everyone's support. 120 hours in and NO CHANCE of ever having a dip again. Tuff as hell after my most stressful week at work in 3 years, but I Made it through it. I'm out of town for work and can't figure out how to get on the roll call with my tablet or phone. I'll try something later. No chance I would have made it without this site... Thank you again...

Here is The Welcome Center.
Read thru it noting #4 about posting roll.

I believe your quit group is PreHOF January 2015 Roll Call...go to the main board, click on groups and find it. Post roll in their EDD.
Did you post? If not click the link Schaefer gave you above^^^^^^. This is the foundation of the site. We post roll everyday (preferably first thing in the morning). That roll post signifies a promise to all of the quitters on this site that you promise not to dip for one day. Honor that promise than do the same thing the next day. You'll be amazed how the days add up. Good luck.

Jscott,

Welcome. Great decision to take your life back. 96 hrs on your own is pretty amazing and I don't know if I could have done that. Dig in to KTC and read all you can, drink plenty of water and get out and exercise . Find your quit group, it will be January 15 and post roll. POST ROLL EVRYDAY. They will be your brothers and sisters of quit. Keep reading and see what the site has to offer for you.

Take it one day at a time and we will all be here to quit with your everyday. Proud to quit with you today.

Sir Nope

This is my 1st time writing and my 1st time quitting the can. I started chewing at the age of 11 when a youth paster at the church I attended past me some cope on a ski trip. I have chewed a roll or so every week since. About 10 years ago I started to use cope pouches to be able to chew everywhere and straight cope other times. I got to the point that no one even my wife or coworkers knew that I chewed. I would have two packets in my mouth most of the time. I turned 45 years old on the 1st of October and finally had enough. This past Monday I found this website and read the story titled "Jenny  Tom Kern's Story's". This really hit close to home, Shortly there after I tossed 4 new tins and that was the start of being free. I am just passing 96 hours since my last chew ever... I also cut all triggers I could think of, coffee, and alcohol. I did not even tell my wife until after she spent time reading on this site to understand this addiction. This has got to be the hardest week of my life suffering from most of the side effects that people have described. Every time that I thought I could not make it this week I would read a post on this site. I thank everyone that has written and the administrators that keep it going...
