Welcome and congrats on your decision to quit. The site is simple the quit is hard.

Go to August 2011 and post roll. Keep your word 1 day at a time and you will be quit.

I can tell you it was one of the best decisions I ever made. Cancrusher and I are in August 2010 together and just rolled a year quit. I am as happy as can be. Get in August, meet your brothers/sisters and quit.

Parry,

Welcome to our little corner of the web. We are crude, thick-skinned, ornery, and most of us ugly. But we do know how to Quit the use of nicotine and are very proud of that. If you can dig that then you are in the right place my friend. Let's see that Day 5 post up in August if you haven't already done so. Give your word and keep it. That simple...notice I didn't say Easy. It will suck, embrace it.

I recommend hitting up Live Chat and meeting some of the clowns in there....

Way to go perry. I also didn't find the early few days to terrible. I think it was because I had the nic withdrawal symptoms to scream at all the time and that somehow made it easier.

I will say at day 13-14 I was ROUGH. Day 14 was the worst day I have every had in my life. I would rather have the flu.

So hang tight and watch out, your not out of the woods by any means. Lucky for you, you found this site and we can help more than you can imagine.

Great decision to quit!

Welcome Parry - glad to see you took the plunge. It's a whole lot better than trying to do it on your own. Bunch of guys that you don't know much more than their avatar and screen name but know what it is like and can help through the pain. PM if you need anything.
