day 2 in the books, your half way thru the hardest part. Keep going strong. Dont feel bad about throwing a pinch of smokey mountain in your lip, anything to keep nicotine out of your body is ok. Well almost anything, there are some sick fucks on this site. Anyway, way to go. No looking back, you are a full fledged bad ass quitter. Gear up for day 3

Just went and picked up a couple cans of Smokey Mountain tobacco-free wintergreen snuff. I'm going to try not to use any but it kind of feels comfortable in my pocket. Also got another 3 bags of seeds and some more gum. Day 2. It's my first day at home by myself with no tobacco. I'm going to call up some tobacco-free buddies to come hang out. Hopefully they'll help me help myself stay quit.

Thanks everyone for continued support. I quit with you all today.

Oh, man. Day 1 is almost in the books. It was rough. I'm working 24 hours on an ambulance. Normally I'd go through a whole can of Grizzly or more. Instead, I went through a whole bag of sunflower seeds and a whole pack of gum.

Thanks to those that quit with me. You've helped make today a success.
I went through 2 bags of seeds and 3 packs of gum on my first two days. The seeds really aggravated my mouth but I found lifesaver mints to really do the trick.

Not only did you quit for today but your breath will have never smelled better.

I quit with you today.

Welcome Matt. I am also 24, and I dipped for almost 10 years. Like you, I started in high school because of sports. You made the right choice in coming here. This site has helped me stay quit for 72 days. We take quitting seriously around here though. By posting roll, you give all of your quit brothers your word that you will not use nicotine for that day. Post roll everyday, keep your word, then do it again. It's that simple. You are so much stronger than nicotine. Send me a personal message if you need anything. Stay quit.
