The Landman - We now head down to the state from which all large things come from, the great State of Texas, to pick up our next Killer in Fort Worth!!! Landman is a married quitter with 2 boys and is a born and raised Texan. Should of known by that 10 gallon hat on his head! He is a true Texas Petroleum Land guy, drives a jeep, and every Killer knows this guy is a serious quitter. HOF celebration will involve posting roll only, and you guys/gals can count on him for 200 days no sweat. Since he is bringing The Good News on the train it appears we wont have to worry about contacting anyone, but if the Aggies are on the in-rail entertainment he may not get off the train ever!

Like a lot of us here at KTC, his path to this day didnt come easy. He started dipping Copenhagen fine cut around 23 years ago by this conductors estimate. Once committed to his quit, he never wanted to let any of you Killers down though, especially Punkin, sportster4ever, and sparrow. When asked who inspired him the most he said sportsfan231, Evil_Won, and syndrome were all impressive leaders by example. All of this being said I think we are are glad The Landman came upon this site and embraced his quit to 100 with zeal, and will continue on to each floor with the same fervor. Yee Haw to this great Killer! Next we head east into the wind to little state called Georgia..

The Landman Introduction:

1. Today is day 2 of my quit.

2. I've been a slave to Copenhagen for 20 of my 35 years in life.

3. I believe all things are possible in Christ, but that doesn't mean it'll be easy.

I'm quitting dip because I finally realized that it is first in my life and that's a damn shame. Especially considering all I've been blessed with that is so much better.

I think that sums me up.

Mr. landman it is day 4 for you, We are both in 14 class and I wanted to find your intro and learn a bit about you.

Congrats on the decision to quit today, an intro of few words that speaks volumes of yourself. You seem like you have it together but I wanted to bump this back up if you had any concerns or if you wanted to bitch about going through the suck.

Reach out to me anytime you need some support or just want to shoot the shit. I'll quit with you odaat.

Well Landman
I could add a few more for ya.

4. KTC is another ally to add to your list

5. Posting roll is the cornerstone of what we do here. Post roll gives your word to us and you that you will not use nicotine in any form for today only. Wake up tomorrow and repeat.

6. Quit for yourself first all others are motivators, the problem with motivation is that it is short lived and comes and goes. You are the only constant in this quit.

PM me if you need anything or digits.

Fantastic decision Landman. You came to right place. There is all kinds of good quit going on around here. Like Bean said, read the welcome center and figure out what posting roll is, and do it. The short version is that is is giving your promise not to use any nicotene, chew or otherwise, today. Just today. Then, because you are a standup guy, you will keep your word.
That is how we quit around here. One day at a time. We do it every day.
My only other advice is to read read read. Read everything on this site. Intros, hall of fame speeches, words of wisdom, what to expect..... anything and everything.
It helps in beating the cravings, and builds a real understanding of what we are all dealing with.
You can do this. Post roll and be quit with us.
