Hello everyone, I am a recent college grad and former college baseball player. I guess I can also add "quitter" to that list with pride. I have been quit for 173 hours, or a few hours over 7 days. This past week has definitely been a struggle, but one that has been worth it. I have tried to quit before but had no success and this is the longest I have ever been without dip since I picked the shit up. I am determined to make this one go the distance because I am tired of lying to friends, family, and most importantly myself about this disgusting addiction. I am glad to be here and really think this website is what is going to fuel me to continue to stay quit. Let's do this.
Welcome Jake. You have a number of things in your favor. First, you're young. I wish I had the balls to Quit when I was in my 20's. Second, you've been nicotine free (right?) for 8 days. The nicotine is completely out of your system. Third, you found this site, and have posted roll. That means no nicotine for today. That's all we ask. Tomorrow, well, we'll see about tomorrow when it comes.
Just to clarify, you've had no nicotine (patches, gum, lozenges) for 8 days?
