Sorry I haven't updated what's been happening lately, as school semester started during my first week of quit. That was pretty rough since in the past I made an effort to have a constant lipper while in lecture. I've been quit for ten days now. Ordered some of that new hooch rough since I had been a Copenhagen long cut guy. A couple days ago I had a dip dream and woke up thinking and feeling depressed that I had lost the battle. Fortunately, I had read a lot of topics here from other guys and new about the dreams so the feelings of failure only lasted a couple hours. When I have a bit more time this evening I'll come back on and share why I decided to quit with you all.

Stay strong brothers!
Looking forward to reading more. Sounds like you're doing well.

Great choice Rex! Quitting is very simple, but it's not easy. You can do it by following the program here though. If I can do it, you certainly can too. You are in some of the harder days right now. Stay close to the site here if you can, and when you can check in and let us all know how you are doing. Also share some more about you and why you decided to quit. Quit on!
This info helped me early on, and still does today: https://whyquit.com/whyquit/linksaaddiction.html

Quitters I’ve met so far: Ihatecope, >Pinched<, T-Cell, grizzlyhasclaws, Canvasback, BaseballPlayer, Cbird65, ERDVM, BradleyGuy, Ted, Zeno, AppleJack, Bronc, Knockout, MookieBlaylock, Rdad, 2mch2lv4, MN_Ben, Natro, Lippizaner, Amquash, ChristopherJ, GDubya, SRohde  -- always eager to meet more!

Hi everyone,

First started the habit when I was 19 and in the Marine Corps. It's been 8 years now? Holy shit... Don't have anything motivational to say... Most likely due to the close quit proximity. Just needed to intro myself. Semper Fidelis to all you that are clean and are getting clean at this very moment.
Welcome hypo. Great choice to be quit, it is so worth the freedom.
Time to also start the education. This might have been a habit the first time or 3 you dipped, but for the vast majority of us it rapidly became an addiction that we now manage as non-users. A habit isn't difficult to change if you want to change it, an addiction is much harder. A habit doesn't kill you, an addiction can. Read and learn about it on this site, it makes being a quitter easier if you understand what you are up against.
Fish, eat, sleep. Repeat.

Hey Hypo. Nice to have you joining our little band of quit maniacs. Besides posting an introduction, you need to take it a step further and post roll in your new group...April 2014! I just wanted to tell you a little about roll call and why we do it, so that you can get started on your quit. Roll is your daily promise to yourself and all of your new brothers and sisters that you will not use tobacco in any form that day. You will post your name and the number of days you are quit each day in the April, 2014 quit group. Each and every day you will post your promise. No exceptions. That is the price of admission to KTC. Nothing more and nothing less. If your electricity quits working, your internet provider goes bankrupt or you are on vacation and will not have internet access, call or text a quit brother and tell the brother to post for you. Simple and easyÂ…and therefore, no reason for not posting roll. The reason you are put in April is that will be the month that you will celebrate being 100 days free of nicotineÂ…your Hall of Fame date. Congratulations on making the best decision of your life.

Now that you know the basics, it is time to read all you can on this site. Go to the welcome center and that will get you started. Post roll and look up at your inbox (1). That is a personal message from me with my telephone number. Lets get your quit started today. Wayne

How to post roll.

Step 2 - Hit the "Quote" button in the upper right hand corner.
Step 3 - Click your mouse ANYWHERE in The bottom Box.
Step 4 - Hit Ctrl and "A" at the Same time so it looks like a solid blue box.
Step 5 - Hit Ctrl and "X" at the same time so there is NOTHING in Either Box.
Step 6 - Click your mouse anywhere in the TOP BOX
Step 7 - Hit Ctrl and "V" at the same time to Paste the info into the top box AND ADD YOUR info to the bottom of the list
Step 8 - Hit ADD REPLY below the bottom box
