Have stopped plenty of times. Today, for the first time, I'm quitting. I'm scared that I won't be able to function as usual, but more scared that my awesome wife won't have her best friend to grow old with and that my daughter won't have someone to walk her down the aisle, and that my son won't have someone to teach him how to switch-hit.

I've been a ninja for 20 years. Crazy when I write that down. It's really a few months more than 20 years. What a jackass I am.

The thing that I'm most scared of, I think, it driving to work on Monday morning. Since I'm ninja, I only sneak away to have a dip or two per day on the weekends, so my commute Monday morning I look foward to being able to pack my lip, take a deep breath, and start living in the "real world" all over again.

I'm rambling but that's because I'm writing to myself as much as anything about wanting to quit/needing to quit; now I've got to translate that into one day at a time QUIT. No, now I've got a new thought on what I'm scaredest of: I've stopped before, but what am I going to do to make sure I don't re-start again a few weeks down the road? I don't know--I've got to find it.
I quit with you as a fellow Fogger Newbie. its hard not to think ahead to routines that will feel like one big crave- i do it too. We just have to create new things that we do during the routines. Confuse you mind. I bought a bag of dum dum lolly pops for the car. Sound silly - but that is my new routine i created.

We dipped for ourselfish selves. You must be as selfish with your quit. Quit ODAAT for You. You r worth it. We are all addicts of this poison and we win one day at a time. Learn to see the poison for what it really is...poison.
1 problem + nicotine = 2 problems.
I am doing this today. I know that YOU too can kill the can ODAAT and NAFAR.
post roll
honor your word
wake and repeat
Keeping my jaw and tongue...I like them.
It's poison I tell ya, You wouldn't drink Liquid Drano, would ya?

hay man what your distince? i tend to go longer cuz im old fat and slow so them sprints and olys just aint for me. mostly 70.3 cuz trainin for iren man distince just takes to much time.
As a fellow ninja there is a special joy in being dip free and being able to be honest with my loved ones. Breaking the habit of things you did with dipping is hard....but use as much logic as you can. Somehow your brain is telling you that your drive will be more enjoyable with a weed in your mouth....explain that to someone who doesn't dip....it makes no sense. Don't let your addict mind reason with you, you got this.
