"This guy's walking down the street when he falls in a hole. The walls are so steep he can't get out.
"A doctor passes by and the guy shouts up, 'Hey you. Can you help me out?' The doctor writes a prescription, throws it down in the hole and moves on.
"Then a priest comes along and the guy shouts up, 'Father, I'm down in this hole can you help me out?' The priest writes out a prayer, throws it down in the hole and moves on
"Then a friend walks by, 'Hey, Joe, it's me can you help me out?' And the friend jumps in the hole. Our guy says, 'Are you stupid? Now we're both down here.' The friend says, 'Yeah, but I've been down here before and I know the way out.'"

Looks like a whole lotta people jumped in the hole with you.

Balls in your court.

8up,

You have two quit Sherpas if you are committed. We only ask that you commit 100%.

I'm on board. Though 8up stuffed a bar of Life Buoy in my mouth for dropping F-bombs. I will have to reformulate my approach to cheering him on.

Your missing the point man!  You wouldn't walk into an AA meeting and say I'm just trying this sober thing out, I'll probably have a beer on the way home.  That is disrespectful!
I can work with that guy because he is telling the truth.

This is the best point in this entire thread.

And saying Souli has the power of a thousand Gods. That was a good point, too. Well.. that wasn't implicitly stated, but I think that's the message I got.
The love you get here is conditional. The condition is that you are quit.

8up. You are such a drug addict. Displayed post by post by post. I quit with soul, raz, Lock, bowman, parputt. Thanks for your support brothers. Best of luck 8up, cause luck is all you have.

8up, you my friend are truly a unique and special butterfly. A beautiful snowflake. The rules simply are different for you? Brother, don't take a seat in the lifeboat if you are not serious about saving you life. Trust me, someone else wants the seat.

I found this sight when I was almost at my 72 hr mark and thought hey cool. But The people here seemed ok until I told my truth  I'm sorry. I will no longer post as I can see this is a very serious thing to many.

Souli your words can do more damage to a persons life than a can of chew. Just your tone and language show your a miserable sob. Maybe even your life is worth something to someone good luck all I will be awol
Take control of your life. If words have the power of inducing the chain reaction of cancer, I truly have become powerful.

More powerful than you can possibly imagine.

But I promise to only use my power for good like getting free lunch and seeing boobs whenever I can.

You can find all the love in the world here. You can become acquainted with others you can call at 2 in the morning and they will answer to help you. They will drive hours to be by your side. Will do any and everything they can for you.

You can also display one of the stupidest fucking comments I have seen here in 710 days.

Are you fucking shitting me? Either you are quit and damn serious about it our you can peddle you little narrow bitch ass along!

There are other places out there that will tickle your ass with a feather and coddle your balls whilst telling you it's ok to have that attitude. THIS ISN"T IT!

Get your head screwed on straight and don't be disrespectful to those that are serious about changing their lives!

Souliman your foul mouth and lack of vocabulary appall me please refrain from further comment.

Look up the odds of throat cancer are higher for a smoker that a chewer. I have bipolar suicide is more likely to get me than cancer from dip.

I was not trying to prove to others on here I can do this but to others in my life that keep saying they are trying to quit smoking but "Its so hard"

My intention was not to make light of the achievements of those on this sight,
My sincere apologies my friend for offending your sensibilities. I realize my complete lack of emotional control and inferior education combine for truly irrational reactions sometimes. For this, I am sorry. After reading the thread, I rushed too quickly to judge you as having a pair of ruffled, pink wet panties for a spine. For this, I'm sorry. I want to apologize to you for my own failure. My attempt at summoning your inner strength and resolve to finally arrest the ingestion of poisons and carcinogens was lack luster and really a poor attempt. Wow. I really let myself down. If you would allow, I would like to make another attempt?

You are a pathetic child. How the fuck do you get up and look at yourself in the mirror? Of all the ridiculous asswipes to come through here I have not heard of anyone being so careless with their life. If you can make a change to prevent the further risk of cancer, DO IT. Hey, I got news for you...consciously deciding to further ingest nicotine is suicide already. You have already shown you have the strength to start this, what in this world could make you abort at this point? Have you resigned to dying a terrible death or being permanently disfigured (chicks don't dig "half jaws"...though I'm pretty sure you're only smuggling raisins in your Jockeys so chicks probably don't matter to you). The transformation that comes with beating addiction will change this lack luster attitude you have towards life. You won't give up. You'll look each day as to where you can succeed. Join us pathetic fuckup! Join us in this fight. I'll quit with you regardless of this death wish you seem to have accepted. I'll fight with you daily. I will be your quit sherpa. Heck there will be times when you will be mine as well. This place will change your life. I believe that. I know it. I've seen enough folks determine that what they offer the world is indeed valuable to themselves and others around them. So throw out that attitude and lets start fresh.

Welcome to the fight friend. This isn't an attempt. This is taking back control of your life.
